    Infractions?

I think you are missing the vital flaw in your plan though Andy. Allow me spell it out for you. You see, TDR answered your question literally. That is, if your real twin opened an account there would be no problem. . . . Are you getting it yet? You were trying to be clever with your cunning plan, right? I think you'll find TDR has his own plan and is waiting for you to fall into the trap he's prepared for you.
  2. Sorry, I haven't got any pics to hand. It looks like stuck on tat but it's very good quality and hard wearing. It looks nothing like real CF, frankly it's a piss poor imitation of CF. OTOH the steering wheel is genuine CF and looks good. I'm starting to doubt the dash is genuine OE now. . .
  3. Seems very expensive for an NA, especially a white one. I wouldn't have valued it at any more than 4k.
  4. It's quite amazing how much better it looks now it hasn't got those headlight covers. If the car looks as good in the flesh as it does in the new pics I should think it'll sell no problem.
  5. I'm sure Guigsy's isn't the Toyota original item. I've got the optional Carbon Fibre effect dash in mine (and CF steering wheel) it's quite different to that one.
  6. Ah so it was you that got it! Is it a 5 or 6 speed ?
  7. :sigh: Yes, but that's my point. Do any of these sellers say what Stage 3 actually involves? If not then it's meaningless, isn't it?
  8. No seriously though, all hybrids seem to be "Stage 3". Do you think they've all had this claimed specialist engineering work to make them a larger capacity? Or have they just had the broken bits replaced with steel wheels? I know what I think.
  9. Hmmm, not sure about the housings being ground about. I'm sure some (lots?) are just straight same-size steel replacement wheels. I've noticed that everyone that has hybrids claims they're "Stage3" but almost none of them know what Stage 3 actually means. Does anyone know somebody with Stage 2 or 1 hybrids?

    buttons?

Yeah, that's what I thought. (Slip Diff and Slip Control are completely different things. ) Anyway, Slip Cont type of TC is what J-spec have. The TRC type of TC is on UKs. The UKs TC applies the brakes as well as cutting the injectors. Whichever type you have is crap anyway. Just turn that shit off when you get in the car.

    buttons?

Yours says Slip Diff does it? You sure about that?
  12. I suppose it won't suddenly blow-up if you continue running it at very low boost all the time but what's the point of a single if you're making less power than stock/BPU? It must surely run like crap off boost and the Ign timing, fuelling etc is going to be all over the place around the stocker's transition point. OK so you've gotten away with it by running next-to-no boost but I wouldn't want anyone reading this to think that it's really a viable way to go.
  13. Well, what is it that you're "well disappointed" with? If I understand correctly, you're running a single on stock injectors at sod-all boost and the map with stock twin turbos - right? No wonder it's disappointing. It's bound to run worse than stock and TBH Em I'm slightly surprised you haven't blown the motor yet. You're a braver man than me though mate, putting the poor thing through the torture session of a dyno day.
  14. I've had a PHR Stage one and currently have a GT4088. In my opinion the 4088 is much better suited to the Supra, although I do wish I'd gone for a slightly smaller turbine housing. The .96 back housing is just a little too late spooling for my tastes. I'm convinced a .81 A/R 4088 would be the perfect compromise between the weedy t60/t61/gt35 turbos and the t67 turbos. Ryan's been in my (gt4088) car and several other gt4088 and T67s. I'd be interested to know his thoughts on how they compare.

    X Factor

This one was funny : IXQ2ScrsGqs Yeah, me too love!
  16. Blimey, this old chestnut hasn't come up for a while. It used to be regular occurrence. As said above, at one time the Jap car manufacturers agreed not to make cars for Jap domestic market that were over 280bhp. They didn't stick to this agreement for very long but for several years after they continued to quote their high power cars as only making 280bhp. Many cars which make in excess of 280bhp, besides the Supra, are also quoted as only making that figure.

    NOS Question

I dunno why but I've never liked the idea of nitrous injection. It just seems wrong somehow. Besides which, it costs a fortune if you actually use it, it's a pain to get filled up, and nobody will insure your car with it fitted. Apart from that it's great. Fargo, How did you manage for insurance? Do you have a trade policy or what?
  18. She said it was just a figment of speech. And I said you mean 'figure'. And she said "no, figment", because she could never imagine it happening. But it did. When we first met, I played the shy boy. And when she spoke to me for the first time, my nose began to bleed. She guessed the rest. The next day we went on a bus ride to the ferry. And when nobody came to collect our fares, why I knew then this was something special. I couldn't stop thinking about her and every time I switched on the radio there was somebody else singing a song about the two of us. It was just like being on a fast ride at Fun Fair - the sort you want to get off because it's scary and then, as soon as you're off, you want to get straight back on again. But oh love is strange. And you have to learn to take the crunchy with the smooth I suppose. She began going out with Mr. Potato Head. It was when I saw her in the car park with his coat around her shoulders I realized. I went home and thought about the two of them together until the bath water went cold around me. I thought about her eyes and the curve of her breasts and about the point where their bodies met. I confronted her about it. I said 'I'm the most illegible bachelor in town' And she said 'Yeah, that's why I can never understand any of those silly letters you send me'. And then one day it happened - she cut her hair and I stopped loving her. -- Walk Away Renée (Version). Billy Bragg
  19. I never vote for any of these things, for several reasons but mainly because I don't believe that any of them are genuine competitions, just marketing ventures. But answer to your question : A & C

    NA VVTi oli leak

I imagine the leak is coming from the oil feed that pressurizes the VVTi . You'll probably need to strip the intake cam side down a bit too see it properly. Are you sure you didn't over-tighten the front bearing cap? They're easily damaged if over tightened (As I found out myself ) Is the car Right Hand Drive? It's just that we've never seen a RHD VVTi NA. In fact we didn't believe they existed. If so, do you have a photo of the engine bay we could see please?
  21. I'm shocked that you're shocked. What did you expect? You tried to rig a competition by asking us to vote for a model that we'd never seen, which was bad enough, but worse than that was that you failed to mention it was going to cost us money to do so. I thought the X-Factoresque sob story was a nice touch though. Good angle, if not wholly original. Free world, isn't it? Everyone's entitled to an opinion.
  22. I just pasts the table into excel and insert a column of full of | between each field. Only takes a couple of mins.
