The turbos can run 1.2-1.25 bar quite happily. Any more than that and you will be running them out of their efficiency range and they will make more heat than extra power. This applies to both UK and J-spec turbos. The ebay car looks alright if you don't mind white ones. I see it's been worked on by Future Motorsport, who are banned from here. (Used to be an authorised trader on here) The front bumper is not a GReddy item as claimed, it's a Bomex one.

Convert the cost in £ into litres (price per litre you paid for the fuel) then convert litres into gallons (4.54 Ltr per gallon IIRC)

Unless you're measuring fuel consumption over the course of a full tank you're wasting your time. The gauge is so inaccurate it's meaningless.

Oooo, controversial. Some folks seem to like them though. I wouldn't have another Tip, well not a tip Supra anyway. The Audi DSG tip (s-tronic) gearbox is ten times better than the Toyota one. Six speed, seemless full throttle changes in 3 milliseconds, sequential operation by gear lever or steering wheel paddles. I'd happily have one of those. I belive the 2008 M3 is going to offered with a DSG box too. That'll be a great car.

Yes. And it's shit. I had my grey Supra de-aerialled and used the rear screen one instead. I wish I hadn't done it though. The one in the rear screen isn't up to the task

It's better to leave the Odo to continue clocking up in kilometeres, IMO. Saves all that trying to explain the mixture of miles and KMs, which always sounds dodgy to prospective buyers.

My best bargain ever: Set of Lexus GS300 wheels. I got 3 of the wheels second hand from eBay for £75 (10" rear x2, 8½" front x1) and the other wheel I swapped for a OE spat that cost me nothing (Bought a set of OE skirts and spats, then sold the skirts for what the skirt and spats cost me) Well happy with that.

Who's it a treat for? You or her? Are you sure a flash car is really what your GF would want you spending all that money on. There's much more appealing things to most women then a ride in flash hire car. YMMV of course.
