  1. Can't be that one 'cos that guy didn't turn out to have one at all.
  2. Off the top of my head there have been lots for spelling, one guy with a Ferrari that took a lot of piss taking recently and another that joined who had a (Supra, MR2 & Lambo) who everyone thought was talking s**t and actually it turned out he wasnt...I am sure there are lots more. The guy with 348/355 mish-mash Ferrari was a bit odd anyway. I must've missed the Lambo owning newbie's thread. Any chance of a link?
  3. Not that work. Buy a mappable standalone if you're serious about tuning it. A nice MoTeC m600 will only cost you a couple of grand. Or sell it and buy a TT
  4. That'll be because we don't want the place turning into forum full text-speaking fuckwits. You say the list goes on, what do you mean? Apart from the "gunna gt me a gud supra lk ur 1s" retards what else are newbies jumped on for?
  5. You can't remap the stock ECU, even on a TT
  6. Doesn't look like I'll be switching to e85 any time soon : Where you can buy bioethanol
  7. Apparently it's because it's produced at a plant in Wissington.
  8. Your stock lambda sensors are narrowband, so they're no use for connecting to an AFR gauge. You need a wideband sensor fitted to the exhaust. The second decat is a common location to fit one.

    Pistons?????

Sorry, what was your question? And it's Greddy not Greedy
  10. What does it matter what tyre pressure Lexus recommend for those wheels on a GS300? It's not going to be the same for those wheels on a Supra.
  11. How do you know? How do you know?
  12. Rear seats are hopeless for anything other than very occasional use. Zero leg room unless the driver and passenger are midgets. They don't really rust. The galvanised body is great in that respect. Some rusting on rear hatches has been reported though, not a common problem really. Yes, they're very tail happy in the wet. You can easily control it with some care and experience - or RLTC. 19 MPG is about right. 29 MPG is only realistic if you only do downhill journeys. Imports are dearer to insure but not all that much more if you phone around. NA insurance is usually about the same as the import TT. Spares are not a problem. The option extra side skirts and spats are the only item I know of that you can't get new any more. Dunno about your local meets. The M3 is a good car too. If you can find a good hard top one it would make a good alternative to a TT Supra. Personally I wouldn't be seen dead in a convertible one though (or an aerotop Supra) They get done up like dog's dinners because people have no taste. The manual TT is the best choice for most folks but the autos are very good too. The manuals are harder to find and dearer. Test drive both and see if you like the auto, they're surprisingly good. How much would you need to pay for a standard/light modded TT? How long is a piece of string? A 1993 auto TT with 90,000 miles and a Bomex/Veilside bumper, ironing board spoiler and loud dump valve will be about £4k, a 2002 6sp VVTi with 40k miles and OE bodykit will still set you back 18-20k, if you can find one. 13. To be fair, I only bought the scoop, the gasket and the grill. The rest Dude just figured out/made up/bodged. And this was 4 years ago as well.
  14. They're not £150. Mine was like £70 from the local Toyota dealer, no discount either. Still, can't argue if you got it for free.

Restart the presses. Doug was at Ewen's #7.

    more power

Just take it to Thor or TSR - you'll easily get over 500bhp there.
  17. I was too subtle. Click the smiley Rob mate.

    Bath or shower?

[old fart mode] When did this having a bath every day business start? Back when I was kid people only used to have a bath once a week. Sunday evening usually. Most people didn't have one those fancy foreign shower things in their house either. [/ofm]
  19. You just need the application right? The maps are the same as the regular PDA or TomTom One maps.
  20. Sorry, you can't use TomTom with the N95's integrated GPS receiver. Works like a champ with an external BlueTooth GPS though. I can hook you up with TomTom 6 for the N95 if you have a standalone GPS receiver. LMK

    Bath or shower?

Can't remember the last time I had a bath. We've lived in this house over 6 years and I've never used the bath here.
