  1. Anyone know what he's on about?
  2. Just so people don't misunderstand, this does not necessarily mean that you can have smaller than 79mm character number plates on a Supra. It only applies to vehicles which cannot be fitted with standard sized plates. A standard sized plate can fit a Supra no problem so this 'loophole' doesn't really apply to our cars. --------- Edit: I see Merckx has made a similar point whle I was writing the above.
  3. Lottery win? How much does that razor cost ???
  4. If remember right you do need to unplug the spoiler ECU behind the stereo. You don't need to remove the button if you don't want to.
  5. Lesnar thought that before their first fight. Mir submitted hm inside 2mins though. UFC experience counts for a lot more than Lesnar expected. Of course, Lesnar has more of it now. I'm not saying this polish guy isn't good, you just cant tell from the clip above because the other guy is so poor.
  6. Wow, that girl at 2m 52s is fine! You can't tell if Pudzianowski from this fight. The other guy didn't offer much resistance or defence. I'd take Mir or someone experienced like that to beat him in the UFC I did a search about Lesnar. Apparently he's got diverticulitis. http://www.tsn.ca/mma/story/?id=301858 Nasty stuff. My best mate was very ill with that for a long time. It's very unpleasant. I don't wish ill on Lesnar but I'd be happy if he never fought in the UFC again. I hate people show-bizzing it up and destroying any credibility it had built up. People will never take MMA seriously as long as fighters are doing the fake pre and post fight ranting, and the other BS that comes with pro-wrestling. I don't mean that wrestlers are the only ones demeaning UFC but their 'showmanship' style typifies everything that hate about the fight game. Guys like Forrest, Mir and Randy Couture are what the UFC should be, IMHO.
  7. Do you still need to have a criminal record?
  8. Yeah, same here for a few of the sites I look at.
  9. I thought you were saying that some channels advertised as HD are not actually. I didn't realise you were just saying that not every channel on Sky is in HD. Obviously (?) only the HD channels are in HD. ie Sky Sports 1 HD is in HD, Sky Sports 1 isn't. BBC HD is in HD, BBC1 isn't.
  10. Humbug. I was like "what's this red shit?!!!" Back to my nice comfortable old Default Theme now. Ahhh, that's better. Don't. Like. Change.
  11. Really? What are they then, if they aren't HD? Which ones do you mean ? Yeah. My 37" JVC LCD cost over £1700 new in 2005. ( I didn't buy it new, I bought it off Gamer from here but it was only like 3 months old). I imagine a 42" plasma was even more than that. I think they were. Mine was anyway. I use my Panasonic plasma as a monitor quite often, it's excellent. With a Gyration mouse and/or keyboard it's brilliant for playing poker online and still being able move around the house. I can see the screen from my kitchen and even from outside the back door when going for a smoke. So much better than having to dash back to the PC screen when it's your turn to play. I know what you mean about LCDs but Plasmas look fine from any angle, don't they? Mine does anyway.
  12. Why? Some people have no need or desire for HD TV/Blueray/HD Consoles. What would be the point of having a full HD screen if you never use its capabilities? What I mean is, for some people a great performing SD TV would be a better choice than spending a load of cash on a set which can display a high res but will never be asked to do so. From what I've read, a lot of HD TVs don't make good SD TVs

    Twilight

Huh? I don't get it. Pardon?
  14. They say that for larger than 37" you should go for plasma. Not sure why really. I have a 37" JVC LCD and a 50" Panasonic plasma. Both good quality sets with great reviews at the time they were bought. The JVC LCD generally looks nicer but it's not good for sports or other fast moving images. The picture is like smeared, if you know what I mean. One thing I will say which you never see mentioned, is that LCDs don't suffer from reflected light on the screen, from a window or electric light. Plasmas do, and I find that a bit annoying.
  15. Lennox was born in England though. iirc
  16. If in doubt Lee take a photo so we can see what's going on.
  17. I might be being thick but I can't see how you could have the AC pulley without having the AC compressor fitted.
  18. We (you know, proper Brits; like me) don't do it but it's pretty common in those jumped-up new fangled countries. Loads of Merkins describe themselves as Irish American or Italian American even though most of them have never even been to the land of their ancestors. Breaking News: Johnny Foreigners are odd. What can you expect from countries where any building with more than two coats of paint is considered historic? It was all much more simple when we ran the world.
  19. Engine componment locations
  20. What happened to the other 25% ?
  21. Hmmm, I dunno. My cousin was born in Oxford but her parents emigrated to Australia (with her of course) when she was like 6 months old. She's, I guess, 21-22 now. She calls herself an Aussie and it would seem odd if she didn't. She's a typical aussie and not British-seeming at all.
  22. 1, You are not describing a timing belt. 2, You post makes no sense. You say your car doesn't have an AC compressor but the pulley for the AC is squealing. Huh? 3, Gates do the belt you need if you have no AC compressor.
  23. If you don't want to do it there are several ways to avoid it. You could just develop Tourette's, that'll get you CUNT out of it. I'd love to do a bit of Jury Service. A nice little libel case lasting a few months would suit me just fine. Better than working 12 hour shift in that sweatshop they call our office. Sadly, I'm not eligible for Jury Service though, for reasons I won't go into. Willy.
  24. Sweet. Looks great. I love NSW, been there a few times. I've got a lot of family out in the Sutherland shires. Are you married/kids? Why did you chose there? Got family out there already? How did you get residency if you don't have a job to go to already lined up? I though they required that unless you're rich, which I presume you aren't, from what you said. I would've happily moved out there 10 years ago but its a non-starter with my other half, due to family ties. Best of luck to you mate, I hope it all works out for you. You live in a car park? How about some pics of where you actually live?
