  1. I can't get my head round this. Why would changing the wheels/tyres make any difference to the tracking or wheel alignment? As long as the overall tyre dimensions are the same/similar and the wheel offsets aren't miles different I can't see how it would make any odds.
  2. Dave, Jon, Are your 3GS iPhones quite new? From what I'm reading, there are nasty prblems with 3GS that were made after week 40. ie they have serial numbers xxx41xxxxxx and above (the forth and fifth digits are the week number it was made) There are shit-loads of people having problems with 3GS that have been JB'd with Blackra1n on here: http://www.iphonedownloadblog.com/2009/11/03/tutorial-jailbreak-iphone-3-1-2-blackra1n/
  3. Hmmm, I'm just looking into JailBreaking at the mo. I saw this ... Is that right? Doesn't sound ideal.
  4. You call those big dogs? Pffft. Looks like a good car for the kind of weather we've had lately. £5k though? Not cheap for an S reg, are they.
  5. Is that possible/likely? How likely? I'm happy to pay for all my Apps, if they are sensibly priced. If TomTom want to abuse their market dominance I'm happy to rip them off in return. (Same applies to Microsoft and Apple)
  6. So, tell me about this JailBreaking then guys. I have a new non-contract 3GS which I'd like to run TomTom on - but I'm not willing to pay £60 for it, that's a piss-take price, IMO. I know I can get TomTom for the iPhone from binary newsgroups, but I'd need to jailbreak the phone before I could install the downloaded TomTom - right? Is having it Jailbroken (Jailbraked? Jailbroke?) going to cause any problems when I connect the phone to iTunes and/or buy other (sensibly priced) legit Apps? Thanks
  7. How does one pronounce prenounce?
  8. Nothing like a new woman to help get over a bit of heartache. Hopefully in a few week time Wayne will be with some new chick and what he's going through now will seem like a distant memory. That's how it usually works anyway.
  9. Congrats. Is your sister OK? Hayden seems a popular name these days. I can't say I like it myself but that's probably because subconsciously I associate it with a Hayden I went to school with and didnt like.
  10. The Mrs got me a 3GS for Christmas. I can't get it to work with gmail though. I've been trying for hours but I'm not really sure what I need to do. Its very frustrating.
  11. George Carlin and Bill Hicks
  12. I want to know what Greedy is?
  13. Probably a growing market for contact lenses out in Pakistan then!
  14. I didn't even know that CJ was in the country! Nice of you to take him out for a trip.
  15. Good girl! I like your style. Pathetic, isnt it. I bet they dont have these problems up north or in Scotchland.
  16. No, it's fine now Andy. I've just gone 55 miles from Basingstoke (M3 > M27, past Hedge End, to Portsmouth then Waterlooville on the A3M) to Waterlooville in 65 mins. It shouldn't take you hardly any more time than usual now, the motorways are just wet now.
  17. Mad, isn't it? I bet it wasn't the snow that caused you to take 6 hours though, it was all the overly-cautious people driving ridiculously slowly - right?
  18. I've just worked a "12 hour" nightshift in Basingstoke. I've never seen traffic congestion like it. All the roundabouts around Basingstoke were almost totally gridlocked. My journey to work from near Portsmouth to Basingstoke usually takes me ~45 mins. Today (well last night, still feels like the same day to me) it took me 5½ bloody hours. OK, so it had been snowing a bit - big deal. Drive accordingly FFS - that doesnt mean drive at 3 mph on the M3 motorway, you knobheads. Honestly, I reckon I could've got to work in 1½ hours, rather than 5½, if people drove sensibly, rather than just going everywhere in first gear. My drive in is basically 30 miles west towards Southampton then 25 miles north to Basingstoke - this took me 5½ hours. My colleague who lives in Southampton took 6 hours to get to work ... in a Shogun !
  19. Good shout on FreeBird. I love that, especially the long version.

  23. Yes No it doesn't. As I understand it, motoring convictions are not generally crimes. Yes. Regardless of whether you like it or not affray is a crime of violence. If somebody has a conviction for affray they are a convicted violent criminal. I really can't understand why there is any debate about this. As long as you carry on being wrong I'll carry on telling you so.
