  1. Really? From where exactly? (The Missus wants one. Personally I hate using laptops) Thanks
  2. That sounds pretty fair to me mate. Good luck with the Skyline fella.
  3. Did you get a fair payout for the write off in the end Dave? (You might have said already but I didn't see it)

    Paypal

I've sent about £500 via paypal to Kyle before and it didn't cause any delay at all. I think it might depend on how your PayPal account is funded. Mine come stright off my credit card.
  5. OIC. I wonder how much of problem that really is. Anyone actually done it that we know of? Good point. errrr, no
  6. Can't you just Leave the stock ECU to control the auto box? You could have a MoTeC for about £1800, iirc. Not a huge difference in the scheme of things really, is it?
  7. Just to clarify for anyone who might not know; when Chris says "access to all enabled features" those features cost extra to have enabled. Also the access to the maps depends on whether the last person to access the map put a password on it.
  8. My Motec isn't locked. It was, but only because Tuning Japanese refused to tell me the password (Despite being paid close to 2k to map it twice) When Dan Turner and Ryan Griffiths mapped it neither of them locked the map - it was a condition of me using their services. Have you considered one the Link G3 ECUs? Ryan says they're pretty much equal to a MoTeC but are like half the price.
  9. Indeed. It usually goes hand in hand with a very restricted mileage though.
  10. Are you sure about the Stillen skirts Darren? They're a bit funny looking, aren't they? I think the Ridox skirts with the Carbon Fibre bit at the bottom would look great on your car. Or the OEM Toyota ones.
  11. Yes, standard on all MkIVs. I was surprised that ABS wasn't standard on all NAs though.
  12. I forgot that the PHR turbo kits have the pipework from the compressor going down into the engine bay then round in front of the OSF wheel to the FMIC - not through the inner wing using the same route as the SMIC.
  13. Could be either - makes no difference to the turbo kit required. EDIT : Hmmmm, Ignore that. Seems I'm wrong there.
  14. It's not got a cast manifold though. Also Carl won't be wanting a a T67 turbo. Is that used kit good value at £2½k ? Aren't those kits just over $5000 brand new?
  15. WSB2 hasn't had a white Supra for years
  16. A couple of weeks ago I was outside having a smoke and admiring my stonechips when this guy who works at our place says "Your car?" Yeah. Nice. Fast eh? Yeah not bad. Then he said "My colleague was telling me that they only made 150 of those. Amazing that there's two of them right here, isn't it?" (Suprash's being the other one) Well it's a few more than 150 actually mate. Really? How many? Just over forty three thousand actually. He looked well disappointed! (Apparently his colleague had been having a nosey round my car and thought it was a UK TT6, cos of the bonnet scoop I presume)

    Hello Kitty....

    Hmmm, that looks familiar . . . http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/5136/goatyhe2.jpg
  18. That's because of the lower geared diff in the NA.
  19. Funny you should ask that. Me and Ash were just talking to a new guy here at work who's got an 07 plate diesel Civic. It's chipped to 320 ft-lbs and still does 40mpg ! It cost less than £400 to get it chipped too. I'm seriously considering one.
  20. For what? Do you have larger than stock fuel injectors then?
  21. £3½k for BPU! Holy cow! I hope at least the Vaseline was free?
  22. Jake

    xmas avatars?

No offence mate - just kidding like.
