  1. Yes its better. The reasons folks use a Walbro also include the fact Walbro do a straight-swap replacement whereas fitting a UK spec Denso pump involves changing the hanger to fit a j-spec.

    Back to work!

I'm surprised you take so long off work, Jamie, with you being self-employed and all. Do you give all your guys so long off? Where I work we are a 24/365 operation. I was rostered to be working Christmas day and boxing day but I took every dayshift in December off because I had lots off days off owed to me.
  3. What did yours make then ?

    Fao cj

Great result for them. I only saw the second half but it was great viewing for us neutrals.
  5. Say 220-210 fwhp and 170-180 rwhp. What did yours make then ?
  6. better video ... Click to see it in higher res eIfYbqw3QCM
  7. Travis Pastrana is a nutter. Wasn't it him that jumped out of pane with a just a pair of shorts and a can of Red Bull - no parachute ? Some of his bike stunts are crazy.

    I Can't Believe It!!

Incorrect mate, a boost controller does not restrict boost.
  9. How do I put MP3 files into iTunes though? I can't figure out how to do it. I've got CDs sussed but not MP3 files

    I Can't Believe It!!

I'm unclear, what is it you can't believe?
  12. Interesting. What rules are those?
  13. So it only expects you to pay for music that you have downloaded from them (Apple) ? The other day I tried to change my iPhone ringtone to a mp3 of The Sopranos theme tune that I've got, when I did the "convert to ringtone" thing in iTune it said I had to pay a charge to continue. I googled and found a way around it but it was a bit of a balls-ache for a 30sec ring tone. As long as importing bulk mp3 files isn't like that I'm happy I guess.
  14. Bare with me, I know very little about these new fangled iPhone/iPod jobbies. 1, Can I import a (retail) CD from my collection onto an (unmodified) iPhone without having to pay Apple something for the privilege ? 2, Same question but for downloaded mp3 files instead of CDs thanks.
  15. The thing is, if the tyres could have been safely repaired, why did the previous owner not have them repaired? A puncture repair is like £10 - a new tyre is what, £100 - £150 ? Surely if the tyre was safely repairable it would have been, wouldn't it? If it wasn't repaired because the tyre dealer was dishonest ... is that the kind person I want to buy from?
  16. Depends how conscientiously they have been repaired. If the puncture was in the central area of the tread they can often be repaired perfectly safely. Often tyres are punctured in an area that would make a repair less than 100% safe, and a tyre shop will refuse to fix it. A lot of these tyres then end up getting repaired anyway and sold on to folks like yourself. I used to be in the part-worn tyre game, many years ago. There are many dodgy tricks.
  17. The stock rubber hoses are much better than any silicon crap.
  18. Huh? What do you mean by 'be the main named brand in B&Q'? If you mean that they are the market leader, they already are the 'Tesco of DIY' and have been for at least a decade. Some of their stuff might be over-priced but people wouldnt shop there if it was all 'massively' over priced, not just because it was convenient anyway.
