    What printer?

If you use non-Canon, or refilled, ink carts the printer turns off its low-ink level safety monitoring and when your cart runs out of ink the printer head destroys itself.

    What printer?

NOT A CANON ! I have a Canon ip4200 and it's a great printer and I use it lot for printing on CD and DVD but Canon's ink catridge policy is nothing short of scandalous and I will NEVER buy another of their products.
  3. You can for some things, you're right there mate - sadly not for the thing I want though. Ah well, I'll go without rather than installing RP - no biggie.
  4. I want to download or stream a radio show from the BBC web site but you need poxy RealPlayer to listen to it. When I used to keep up with these I knew never to use garbage like RealPlayer and I'm very reluctant to infest my PC with it again. Is it still as bad as it used to be? Any decent alternatives about that I can use instead? And by the way BBC, get your sodding act together! Fancy making your customers have to install a third party app rather than using a format that 99% of the PCs in the world can play natively. Stnuc.
  5. A decat is just a straight through pipe - the same round shape and same diameter along its length. A cat is a very different shape - they're a bulbous looking thing. Or are you wondering if your first cat has been gutted to convert it into a decat? In which case removing it and looking inside would be the only way I can think of.

    What A Tune

I only recognized one person ! Apart from Chuck Liddell I didn't know who any of them were.

  8. Yes a torsen diff is what people call a LSD. Yes, some NAs came with them from new. Does your NA have ABS too? Not many did but you may have a higher than average spec one. I can think of a lot of other things to spend £600 on before I'd remove a perfectly good torsen diff and replace it with a TRD one, although the TRD are very good, apparently - is it worth it on an NA? (no offence like)
  9. It's not Silver, it's "Thunderstorm"
  10. Yeah, we're probably all wishing we had gone for the NA now, right?
  11. Don't you just love it when people start threads and then never reply to then?

    911 Crushed!!

How did the guy drive it there with no engine or gearbox?
  14. Same here Michael I blame that M*wby and his damn pruning.
  15. My 98 Tip (BPU) was recorded at 4.993 sec 0-60 by that car magazine (JTuner?) when they paid for us all to do that track day at some airfield. (Bruntingthorpe, Bruntingfield? something like that) I've probably still got the mag here somewhere, if necessary. As far SILKYSMOOTH and his sub 6 sec 0-60 NA . . . Yeah - Right! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif
  16. What obvious mods is that D? The last time I saw it it looked like a brand new UK spec that had just left the dealership! Sadly, my Googlefoo is weak tonight and I cannot find the pics I'm thinking of (so you mere mortals have no chance of finding them) I'm hoping Sharpie sees this and still has the photos from when he got his car back. I've ordered some Kleenex just in case. :TMI:
  17. That's the fella! *Goes of to search*
  18. Who was the guy that has his UK spec Supra crashed by his local Toyota dealer while they were "roadtesting" it and he wouldn't let them write it off and had the car almost totally rebuilt? His car is the best looking Supra I've ever seen. Peter something? I don't think he posts on here any more. The RSP one belonging to Foodfreak is also gorgeous in real life. Burna's looks great in the photos I've seen but I've never seen it in the flesh.
  19. What are you up to then Bry? Why would you want a VVTi head? As it happens I've got a spare one. I haven't put the cams back in it since removing them to undo the head bolts, but they're there. There's one part missing; it's the front cam clamp (I forget the correct term at the moment) on the intake side. You know the part I mean? It's that part that has to have a bit of gasket sealant to stop it leaking oil. I guess sure you'd be able to order the part separately. If somebody could post up an EPC diagram of a VVTi head I could point out the bit I'm on about and then we could get the part number and find out the price for a new one. Let know if you're interested.
  20. Aye, it seems to be a common problem amongst Supra owners.
  21. Great spec with the 6 speed box, LSD and ABS. Is the suspension "unrated" as stated or "uprated"? (Might want to edit that mate) Good luck with the twins!
  22. If only the local CID were so broad-minded when it comes to a few missing paperboys round our way.
