I'd forgotten about this thread til just now. Hi Ollie, So are you saying that a turbo timer (or a remote start for that matter) does not void an alarm's Thatcham CAT1 approval? Or that you guys don't mind whether that alarm has CAT1 approval? Perhaps things have changed but when I got my first Supra I had a job to get a quote without a CAT1 alarm being fitted.

Same as mentioned above by Homer; cars dyno'd at Thor consistently archive much higher figures than than the same cars do on other, more honest dynos. It's fair to say that Thor BHP figures are considered a bit of joke on here. Several members have been given frankly impossible BHP figures. Some folks like to kid themselves though

You've probably got no chance mate if your car's not the stock silver. Lucerne silver is the stock colour IIRC.

Yes, that's the ones. It's the bloody mindedness of it that really gets me. When it detects a new ink cart isn't a new Canon one it makes you click a "Yes, I Agree that you can turn off ink level monitoring for no good reason, just you being pissy that I haven't bought Canon's own exorbitantly over-priced ink, and that I will monitor the ink levels myself or ruin the printer" button. It's true alright, I've got one here.
