  1. Ah, hang on! Having read Jez's thread again, do I have to undo the under-bonnet bits before the heater box will come out? I was thinking the heater box could come out before you had to do that. Anyone know?
  2. It's a nice sunny day so I thought I'd have a look at my heater matrix to see where the leak is. I'm following Jez's How To thread I've got all the dash out OK but I can't seem to get the heater box out. In his thread Jez says in post #3 : "Now, unbolt the heater box, 4 12mm bolts on top edge, and 3 10mm bolts in footwells..." but I can only find 3x 12mm bolts across the top. The ones I can see are the two in this pic and another one on the driver's side. Anyone know where the last one is? Thanks
  3. I see you have a Greedy style dumb valve. I believe they're quite bone, aren't they?

    Is this a new low?

Eh? I'm not sure what you mean Ken. Did you read the article that was linked to by CJ in his first post of this thread? The whole article is based on a survey that was commissioned by the fireman's union.
  5. I have a set of CW UK pads here that I won. How much are they worth?

    Is this a new low?

No : http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4769630.stm Still, good to see that the The Fire Brigades Union have the available large sums of money to commission an agency to do this survey. I'm sure we all realise that you can get any results you want if you commission your own survey, especially if you're surveying your own members. Why are they doing it though? Being a bit of a cynic, I'm wondering if they want public opinion on their side for upcoming pay negotiations?
  7. In the context of the OP's question my answer seems quite clear.
  8. Yes, it's been done. If you do a search for words like "Rubbish handling" "flexing" and "chestwig" you should find all you need to know.
  9. That's what I said, innit?

    TT VS VVTi Single?

No, they're exactly the same. Yes, see previous reply.

    im new

    temporaly. Very good
  12. What's that got to do with bones? Anyway, the answer is no. All UK ones were TT and all manuals were 6sp.
  13. UK spec rear lights are not the same as j-spec. The white reversing light is in a different place.
  14. I don't bother with Valentine's Day, its all bollocks. Mind you, I don't send xmas or birthday cars either. It's fun being grumpy.
  15. That's my old car. I've been 172mph on the m27 in that. Sub 5 sec 0-60 too, recorded when that car mag paid for us all to go to that airfield a couple of years back.
  16. Good point. Joe Public can't tell the diference between an NA and a proper Supra.
  17. Start a new thread in the MK47 section !!!!

    Old car adverts!Cool!

    Excellent! Nice Tash!
  19. You sure you're not confusing it with something else? A 6sp TT for 5k?
  20. Well, the stock suspension is coilover anyway, so . . .
  21. Really? That wasn't my understanding. I thought temps in excess of 100°C were not unusual.
  22. Not much help Havard, I know, but . . .
