  1. Would be funny if it were true. Shame it's entirely made-up.
  2. You must spend a lot of time staring at your phone! Do you not have a PC at home and work? The iPhone is a good toy but its no replacement for a proper monitor - and 3G is a poor substitute to broadband.
  3. You're talking about the passenger side footwell, right? The matrix is on that side. Quite a few of us have done heater matrix swaps now. How-To type link below ... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=127044
  4. Got it. thanks. Sent : 10MB Received : 42.3MB That's since christmas day. I use the net quite a lot but I make sure I'm on WiFi if downloading anything large. Otherwise I DL on my PC and transfer it across with iTunes.
  5. One other thing to bare in mind is that BBC iPlayer only allows 3G downloads for "3" and Vodafone users. Which is a bit of a bummer because 3g is all I have at work, no free WiFi access.
  6. Where can I view my own usage records?

    Snow Chains

Yeah, under inflating them is the usual thing. I've never heard of over inflating them to help in snow before.
  10. Sorry Martin. No offence intended, just trying 'keep it real', as they say.
  11. Well £300 isn't an insignificant amount, is it? But my one is a 32gig 3GS whereas the one Martin wants is a 16gig - I believe they are a fair bit cheaper than the 32gig version. I know approximately nothing about cell phones, I'm not that 'into' them, the one thing I do know is that they are amazingly expensive for what they are. Don't get me wrong, I really like my iPhone - ten times more than the Sony Erikson Satio I had before - but it is worth the price of a cheap used car? Not to me. ymmv
  12. Apparently it was £538. I wouldn't pay that much for a phone myself, it was a Christmas present from my Mrs. I dont make more than £10 per month on mobile phone calls, usually more like £5/month.
  13. £1080 for a phone for two years? Jesus. It's not even a 32gb one. Seems like a hell of a lot of money to me. I thought you claimed to be poor mate! I'm with o2 for my 3GS. Seem alright so far. I was with Orange before that but I couldn't get any signal at all when I'm working at IBM, so that had to go. I'm not a big mobile phone user anyway so I just have mine on o2 Pay As You Go. I get unlimited free net and unlimited free texts for a month each time I top up £10. I really can't understand folks paying £45 a month for a phone. Dont you have a regular phone at work and at home?
  14. The council won't want to know, will they? Is it fair to say that the car must be badly modified if the tyre has been damaged by contacting the wheel arch? I don't think a stock suspension and tyre setup couldn't have the tyre contacting the wheel arch.
  15. Made it home at last! Thanks again Gav and Mel
  16. You? work? Who are you and what have you done with our Doug?
  17. GAV IS A LEGEND !!!! Gav and his mrs Mel picked my up from my work and took me to the hotel and dug and pushed my car out !!! How's that for club spirit ? Thanks guys - I owe you big time
  18. Come and tow me out then with your amazing Supra. Just time and a half. They are paying us all night as well though.
  19. Are they 4wd then? Actually, FWD cars are just about getting out. The RWD drive cars are stuck there. I have one but it's a big car park. Unless I want to dig 10" deep snow out for about 200 yards a shovel aint gonna help.
  20. We're snowed in My m3 is stuck in a hotel car park in Basingstoke. The roads are fairly clear now but the the hotel car park isn't and my car is stranded there cos it can't get to road.
