  1. Yeah something like that I guess. It also made 350.5 RHHP at Thor, which is about 420 at the Flywheel the way some people work it out.
  2. Stock? My BPU only made 300rwhp (Also SRR)
  3. Thanks Jon but don't do that, we'll probably end up with two Supras that'll never work again!
  4. Well, the heater controls work fine in my other Supra, so it's not that. Looking at the three plugs into the back of the instrument cluster ; the white one goes behind the speedo? brown one in the middle behind the rev counter? and the blue one goes on the right hand side behind the fuel gauge.? Correct? And the middle socket, the one the brown plug goes into has no contacts/PCB-tracks to connect with the pins on the brown plug, is that right?
  5. Do you mean the plug into the Hazard Light switch? I can't see another plug that could possibly go into that switch. Seems like Jamie's problem wasn't that he'd plugged the wrong plug in, he'd just not plugged it in at all.
  6. I have a cunning plan to test the heater controls. I'm going to plug it into the dash on my other Supra. Once I've charged the battery (The other Supra has no dash panels before anyone suggests swapping part the other way)
  7. No. No indicators or hazards. Indicators and warning lights do flash with the alarm though.
  8. Well it has 12v power, I tested the plug with a voltmeter just now. How do I do that? Which pins am I supposed to see a voltage across? I've undone the heater control from the dash so that I can plug it in without having to struggle with with removing the dash panel each time I look at something.
  9. Not plugged in what mate? I don't think I have an active spoiler ECU (or a plug for one) As far as I know the speedo and rev counter are both working Pete. Did I give the impression the speedo wasn't working? I didn't mean to. It's the illumination for the speedo/rev counter/fuelgauge cluster that's not working
  10. Nope I'm struggling with it again right now. I have power to : Headlights, Wipers, Cig Lighter, rev counter, boost gauge (stock one), fuel gauge, elec door mirrors, horn, I DON'T have power to : Heater controls, speedo/rev counter panel lights, Highbeam warning lights. The indicators don't work from the indicator stalk or the Hazard Lights button but they do flash when the alarm is armed/disarmed (the green indicator light on the dash do the same) I'm stumped !
  11. Looking at this : http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peter.betts/supra/TechTips/dsc_speedo_mph.jpg I reckon the Blue/Red wire from the loom goes to the Yellow: KMH Signal Input so the other one (Pink/Grey wire) must be the one that connects to (Grey: ECU)
  12. Day off. Thought I'd have another look at my "no power to heater controls" problem. Looking at the speedo converter I'm not sure I've reconnected it back together correctly. On the speedo converter it says CK-DU-99 Red: 12v Green: Earth Yellow: KMH Signal Input Blue: Speedo Grey: ECU The Blue, Red and Green wires are all connected to the back of the speedo. (I know that part is correct because I haven't messed with that) The other two wires from the converter (1x yellow, 1x grey) both have a male bullet connector. There's also a wire spurred off the blue 'speedo' wire which seems to have been connected to the blue/red stripe wire which goes to the stock electrical socket into the back of the speedo. So, I've got two spare wires from the Speedo Converter ; a Yellow ('KMH Signal Input') and Grey ('ECU') Which one connects to the loom side of the Blue/Red wire? And which one connects to the loom side of the Pink/Grey wire. (The speedo end of the Pink/Grey wire has just been capped off, that's correct, is it? Thanks
  13. Well I've just driven 50miles in the fog and to me the cars with rear fog lights on were much more of a problem than the ones without. I find the glare from foglights really unpleasant. As long as I drive at a speed that I can stop OK in the distance I can see then I don't need people to have their fogs on.
  14. He has a high stall torque converter. They make all the difference to drag racing. IIRC MonkeyMARK did an 11.9 in a TT Auto with basically just a high stall and a decat.
  15. ...apart from the ones made during the changeover which might have either type.
  16. 9005=HB3 Note: HB3 and H3 are not the same
  17. That means nothing to me mate, I dunno jack about Imprezzzzzas. Are you saying WRX is a higher spec/power than an STi?
  18. With those mods, it sounds like it already was owned by one.
  19. If he's got a 280bhp imprezza and you're in a stock Supra you're going to lose until it gets into triple digit MPH speeds. My BPU RZ doesn't start to pull away from my mate's STi until 125+
  20. A drag race over how far? Over a short distance he'll win.
  21. Yeah, the one right at the back - double checked it too. Well I pulled that fuse and it certainly looks alright. Good suggestion though mate, I know that one can cause odd faults you wouldn't usually associate with the Cig Lighter.
  22. Yeah, I always plug all the top panel and the right hand side panel in before turning on the ignition 'cos I know it causes problems otherwise.
  23. thanks Steve, It's for the clock but I don't have a clock (AFR gauge there instead) At least I know it's not that that's causing the problem.
  24. Everything is plugged into the top section (three connectors - 2 on the LHS, 1 on the RHS) Ah but there's something else I forgot to mention. The hazards and indicators don't work either but they do flash as normal when I arm/disarm the alarm. I've checked the dimmer switch is plugged in OK. It's all very strange.
  25. Just remembered something. Behind the centre dash panel, the one with the heater controls, there seems to be a redundant black plug. It looks like a five wire one with only four wires connected to it. I can't remember if this plug is usually there unplugged but I certainly can't see anywhere it could go. Anyone else have this spare plug loafing about inside their dash or have I missed a vital connector somewhere?
