  1. Apart from the fuxoring heater matrix? I had one PHR turbo fail with shot bearings and a slight leak on the rear gearbox seal. Apart from that it's been good. Rear gearbox seals and heater matrix leaks are quite common Supra problems anyway.
  2. Did you? I don't remember that Mike. I've honestly had dozens of PMs and emails along the lines of "if you ever want to sell it...." In fact I had another one just this morning . . .

I can't remember his number but if you search for his name and 01865 you'll find it.
  4. It's more than your 3k reserve, take his money. Don't be greedy and then be let down later.

No mate, I've got a brand new one here from Mr Manley for my grey Supe. Loads of parts are cheaper than folks think. . . Facelift rear lights £46 UK spec rear bumper £146 even genuine Toyota pistons are only something like £30 each.
  6. The white one is long gone, Rich. wile e coyote e owns it now. I'll be down to one Supra soon! Looking a maybe a 911 or M3 next
  7. Aye, it's a good spec TBH I know I could get a few grand more if I did a few bits that need doing on it but 1, I can't be arsed 2, I'd rather it stayed in the UK 3, I want it to go somebody I like
  8. Yeah. The single is capable of a much better ¼ time than that. Any car that can get a 130mph terminal should be in the elevens or even tens but I only had one go at it and bogged down really badly at the start. After the first go I fitted some drag radials but they had so much grip that the clutch burnt out, so that was my day over. (That was at TOTB 2005)
  9. Probably a small single, cast manifold, swap the Veilside front for stock with active spoiler. It's RSP - Royal Sapphire Pearl. It's a stock colour on facelift Supras. I haven't advertised the car for sale anywhere. Last time I even mentioned the idea of selling the car I got tons of PMs and emails about it, too many to reply to. Sorry. Racist! I'm impulsive Yeah, I did own 3 Supras at one time. I know it's crazy.

QSC, If necessary you could always get some new ones. They're only £120 odd each from Steve Manley.
  11. I've just agreed to sell my blue VVTi 6sp to a fellow member. He's gone away to sort the money out so I've still got it for the time being. Not sure how I feel about it really. I really like the car and having probably the newest 6sp turbo in the country. I hope I'm doing the right thing. The chances of me finding another y2k single turbo manual in a good colour are practically zero. I've got a nasty feeling I'm going to regret this once the car has gone. Still, I'll be keeping my 93 RZ Auto now and getting that all fixed up, so you're not getting rid of me yet.
  12. I agree with you about IWs Rosie. They are scruffy looking things.

    Dell Axim x50

Is it a 416MHz or 520 MHz? The 520 MHz also has wireless (802.11b)

That's a bargain. I'd be ripping your arm off if I didn't already have a SatNav
  15. Nope. It's a common misconception though.
  16. No tax and MOT is no biggie. As long he's insured he's OK in my book.
  17. Yeah, I thought that too. Anyone done it OK without that special tool? Mine leaks a bit too.
  18. Why don't you drive it properly rather than just around your close?
  19. Do you mean the one I asked you if you had checked and you said yes you had? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=1811761post1811761 You're welcome!
  20. I think it is an optical illusion to some extent. I have a photo of my great dane "Mac" on his sofa sat on my Mrs lap, quite like chris' pic, and Mac looks twice the size he actually was. http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/3452/wtf121102ql4.jpg
  21. :nana: Found it! I'd missed one of the dash loom plugs up inside the dash to the right hand side the steering column. All working fine now. Thanks
  22. Thanks anyway Steve, all sorted now.
  23. I've got some shitty spare ones you can borrow. They don't have great tyres though (probably not road legal)
  24. It's 'supposed' to be less BHP but more torque. People have found the BHP is about the same IRL though.
