I did have a quick look myself. My favourite use of swearing was this one : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=1062914post1062914
  5. Really? They're only 360bhp, aren't they? Can't be that fast to 150 surely? Depends what you're used to, I guess.
  6. That identical to one of the guys where I work's one. His was 2k cheaper though. The "4" in C4S means it's 4WD? Is that seen as a bad thing? What are the "must haves" and the "barge pole" things in 911 ownership? I don't want to be the equivalent of a new guy on here going "Hey everyone, I've just bought a NA Auto with Veilside kit, 6000K HIDs and neon under car lighting from Keithley Car Centre"
  7. I like that! It's the front bumper I like and the wheels. Black leather interior too rather than all those horrible colour ones. What's the downside to this car Gaz? It looks, to a 911 newb like me, almost too good. "very special plate" Am I missing something? What's so special? Edit: oh "C4S" - bit lame though, innit? Do you prefer these lights: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/192681.htm God no, they're the one I really dislike!
  8. Hmmm, that is quite nice, low mileage too. Not keen on the light grey interior and those weird headlights are still bothering me. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/images/252607-1.jpg
  9. This one in a year's time might fit the bill (budget) http://pistonheads.com/sales/315013.htm It's maybe a bit bland looking though.
  10. Nice but TBH too much money for my budget Being picky (which I would be for this much money) Don't like the front splitter, looks added-on-after. The wheels don't do for me either.
  11. Interesting. I dunno what I'm looking at with Porsches though Gaz. Would you care to show me (with a link I mean not IRL) what you consider to be a good 30-40k 911 ? Thanks
  12. You can get a decent CSL for 30-32k too. I'd have a job to find it in the car park at work though - "Ah, there's my car - oh, no, that's not my one. Oh there it is, nope that's not mine either"
  13. Well I've sold mine now and I'm looking for the next thing. Bobbeh won't like this but I'm thinking M3 or 911 at the moment. I can't afford to go over 40k though, 30k really - unless it's something I desperately want - and you don't seem to get the nicer 996 ones for that sort of money. They're all Tips and/or have hideous interiors. The 996 also has those weird headlights which I don't like at all. I can see me ending up with an M3/CSL or another Supra at this rate Ian, what sort of money are you loking at spending? ...and so tastefully painted too!
  14. It's another one with "that" dash Steve!
  15. It's Ray's UK TT6. Nice car and good guy too. I think he's sold it now.
  16. Any photos? It's a problem with all KMH to MPH converted Tiptronic Supras. There's not much you can do about it. It's not a major problem though.
  17. My one is a similar size/spec to the Aldi one but it's useless for anything that requires a near constant supply of air, it just can't keep up. Even for undoing car wheels it only manages about 1½ wheels before the motor has to fill the tank again. I usually end up doing it manually 'cos it's quicker. It would be fine for airbrushing because you're using low volumes of air but polishing would be very frustrating. I want one like the one Chris is selling.
  18. No chance. The reservoir on the Aldi one is far too small for anything like that.
  19. Oooo, a long way then. That's a shame.
  20. Where is your garage then Matt? I'm on the Hants-West Sussex border.
