How much boost was it making before the problem happened? Will it still make boost now? Or won't it rev high enough? Are you the guy that is planning on fitting a TO4R and running it with stock fuelling, injectors, ECU etc ?

It was bound to happen after you brought attention to it on here.

Crap aren't they? For weeks they just ignored my requests to terminate my DSL service - wouldn't send me the code I needed to transfer to another ISP. Strangely as soon as I mentioned that I had spoken to OfTel (or whatever they're called) they were suddenly very helpful.

On a related subject; my new PC, just a cheapy one from Novatech, has a "Athlon XP 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ 2.41GHz" and 2GB of RAM. Now, I'm just running regular XP Pro SP2, but I'm wondering if I would get better performance from a 64bit OS - or wouldn't it make any real world difference? There is a 64bit version of XP, right? Or would I need to have Vista? (Which one?) (I used to keep up with all this stuff but lost interest when I discovered Supras)

Good looking car. The wheels suit it nicely too. About the full leather interior; apart from the front seats what else is leather? Does it have the optional big brakes? LSD? Do you have the standard airbox? The HKS induction kit isn't highly regarded on here. Good luck with the sale. It's a great looking car.

Well I meant that you can only drive autos, you mentioned it once iirc. I didn't realise Ferrari made any autos but I don't really follow the marque because I don't like the image their drivers have. Also, a guy I worked with blew his life savings on an immaculate, low mileage, FFSH, 355. He said it wasn't the fun he thought it would be because everywhere he went people either bore him to death wanting to talk about the car or else they treated him with contempt for having such a cliché 'status symbol'. After 2 months of ownership it dropped a valve and cost him 8k to have the head rebuilt. The love affair was officially over at that point.
