I'm not following your logic. You want No Claims Bonus for insurance somebody else paid for?
I agree with you here. It takes some some skill/caution/(self)control to not crash a decent sized bike; more than driving some old jap car requires, so why doesn't it garner you any credit with an insurance company?

What are you going for, Archbishop of Canterbury? What else would bar you for the odd speeding ticket?
I know the age thing seems unfair but it does make some sense really. Most guys who have made it into their 30s without getting banned/killing themself/killing somebody else/writing off cars/etc are a much better bet, insurance wise, than a twenty something who's been driving a company car for the past couple of years and now wants a big-single Supra.
Not meant as a put-down, just explaining the 'old fart with a big single' point of view.
