    Exactly what I do. Although if it's pay and display I do tend to park in a single bay and hope for the best, purely because there must be limited spaces available when they charge.
  2. Ye I know what you are saying but I want the car to be legal, not too loud and run maximum safe boost level on jdm turbos (1.2 bar). May just have to go full decat if I can't find a definative answer.....
  3. I guess this has been asked before but I can't seem to get a definative answer when I google it. The simple questions I have are this, can I run 1.2 bar with just the second cat removed? If not what boost level is likey to be achieved? All I'm trying to work out is whether the full decat is worth all the fuss (mot). If I can get close to 1.2 bar anyway with just the second decat I'll be satisfied. Feel free to paste any links to "topic specific" threads which i've somehow missed, however personal experiences would be preferred

    lol that's not what goes through my mind at all and I don't have ocd either thanks. I simply get tied of paying out for car park dings from inconsiderate "two hats". Simple to understand for some, not for others.

    Do this all time. Still get dings every now and then. There's always someone .

    I spent over a £1000 in 7 years repairing car park dings when I had my Civic Type R. Don't get upset if I park my Supra defensively now . Plus I only got the Supra 6 weeks ago, I'm a little protective.

    lol I do this all the time now. My old Civic Type R got so many carpark dents I had enough. So now I take up two spaces when ever I park, loving the dirty looks from people but who cares!
  11. I have a new 330cc pump going in very soon. Will have a full check up when this is done but thanks for the advice. TBH I keep having issues with the fuel gauge, just stops working and when I had it checked the sensor (what ever it is) in the fuel tank keeps falling off. This may have something to do the situation. I'll post an update in a couple of weeks when then fuel tank is opened up again.
  12. Ye it's weird isn't it? The car only hesitates when the tank is half empty? Fill it up and fine, I'm lost. New fuel pump going in soon so should resolve any concerns about the pump.
  13. Ye my guess is plugs to. I'm getting new ones this week as I'm not convinced they were replaced when the car was sold to me. Plus I want to run 1.2 bar so I need heat range 7 anyway. Coil packs could be worth a look to, hadn't thought of that. Cheers.
  14. Really sorry for the delay guys, had a heavy weekend as I hope you all did! Took it to my mechanic Thursday night and the air intake that is built into the driver side front wing had popped off (what a sod to access). I have no idea why it popped off but the turbo’s sound healthy again and the car pulls well . However, under maximum acceleration I’m still getting that hesitation thing like its starved of fuel. It only happens when the car has half a tank of fuel or less, when I fill it up again there is no hesitation. Any guess what this could be guys? (Clearly I’m getting a full check up when I go for a remap in 2 weeks).

  16. The "rushing air" noise is a better description than the "grinding" noise I mentioned above. Either way it's not the woosh I'm used to!
  17. Couldn't see a puff of smoke in my rear view mirror but you can't see anything out of my back window anyway (limo tint)! Didn't see anything in the side mirrors either so lets hope for the best.
  18. This all sounds like what I experienced. Will have confirmation after 2pm, fingers crossed it's just a jubliee clip!

  20. I daren't accelerate past 2k revs since the loud bang but when I did I can hear the turbo making horrible noises so I guess it's still spooling.
  21. On the way to work this morning I put my foot down and when getting to around 3-4K revs the car stuttered, felt like the throttle being cut/traction control cutting in, but I didn't have the traction control on. It kept doing it until I heard a loud bang and after that from 2k revs onwards (turbo cut in), the turbo sounds loud and grindy when it cuts in. I didn't dare put my foot down after that! Any diagnosis guys? Clearly I'm taking it somewhere today to be checked out but I would appreciate everyone’s speculation Only had the thing 6 weeks, wounded

  23. The OP said Wifbitz sell 2.5inch only but I bought a 3inch 2nd decat last week. Thought is was relavant considering they sell a matching (3inch) 1st decat too!
  24. I bought a second decat from Wifbitz last week, it was 3inch diameter when I measured it???
  25. Castle Coombe is a bit too far for me, plus I'm getting a remap on the 10th May in Dover. Wanted to attend a mege Supra convoy Have fun guys!
