  1. I am missing the plug for the alternator to my mkiv. Just wondering if it will self excite above a set rpm? I remember someone told me that some alternators do that. If I can do without the voltage sense etc, that would be great. I also saw someone just put wires from the big 12v post on the alt, to the three pins on alt plug. How will that work? Battery drain?
  2. I removed the pump. Made a bracket to support the ps pump, 1930mm(?) belt. And thats it, cant comment on the lines. As they wherent on the car when I got it.
  3. I have a exedy twin for 2jz wirh v160 trans. Can anyone tell me where I can buy replacement parys for it. And how is cost vs new? I need to resurface the flywheel, but can have that done reasonable. Will also need middle plate.
  4. What ecu are you using? Should be really simple to dial in rpm limiter yourself. Unless you have hks f-con are some other wierd shit. Sounds like a waste to fit a aftermarket rpm limter, when you already have it in the ecu.

  8. I meant a shroud that covers the rest of the radiator. I know jamie has been on the track, Just saying diffrent use, diffrent needs.
  9. Just saying there is a diffrence between a car thats on full throttle for 10 seconds, and a car thats on full throttle several laps. Have these fans been tried out woth a shroud? And any info on how much amp i draws?

  13. I would if I had it. But im thinking electric fans might be good for track use, if you need to cool down on idle etc.
  14. What does it mean it helps, but not needed? Im just running 1 fuel pump for now. Do you know how many amps it draws?

  17. A bit pricey for just 2 fans. And im not sure on running without shroud. My car will most of the time go sideways, so not getting much airflow straight in the rad. How much amp do they draw btw? Anyone running these on a driftcar? Anyone else using volvo/taurus fan?
  18. Going to fit a electric fan to my mkiv with a koyo rad. Does anyone have a recommandation for a fan? I heard volvo/ taurus fans ate great, also is300 fans are supposed to be great. Is300 also have a built in overflowtank. Whats the best?

  20. top rad pipe. Yeah, I meant i read somewhere that ge fan is more inward.
  21. I bought a Project a while ago, and was going to install the oem fan today. But it hit the upper waterneck. Is it something im missing, or should it be some sort of spacer between the fan and the waterpump pulley? Its a supra mkiv btw, 2jzgte. its hit by just 1-2mm.
  22. I have a kill switch inside the car, With wire to the outside. The output voltage from ecu to fuel ecu is 0-5v, so thats no good. Guess I will have to og for oil pressure switch.
  23. I know I can simply use a switch, but its more of a safety feature. If you crash, and are not able to use the kill switch. It might be a good idea. (if the engine stops)
  24. I have a supra racecar, thats not having to original wiring left. So no fuel pumpe ecu. How can I make the pump stop, when not running? Is there any pinout on the ecu that I can use? I know I can use the oil pressure switch, but is there any other options?
  25. Thank you very much. I am missing the alternator wiring. What is lg? A saw somebody hook all 3 wires from alt plug directly to the 12v post on the alternator. Will that work?
