  1. Maybe that is what I'm doing wrong. When i insert the key, I start the car immediately which mean that I don't wait for it to swing from 10 to 18 and afterwards display --- But it hasn't been a problem earlier so strange it is starting to do that now. And even more strange that it starts functioning correctly when I adjust the gauge itself a little bit. I would really like to show you the film but still don't know how to upload :-( EDIT: But maybe I should wait for it to run it's starting program before I start the car?
  2. Good evening. I have just relocated my AEM air/fuel gauge and since then it has been acting weird. The car is right now in my garage for winter storage, when I leave the garage I always disconnect the battery. Here is the problem. When I connect the battery and start up the car, my AEM gauge is "freezing" on 14,8 even though I am playing a bit with the gas pedal. I need to tap/adjust a few times on the gauge before it reacts. After that it works fine. If I then shut down the engine and start it up again, it also works fine. What is going on? It has not been acting like this before. Anybody experinced the same? I have a great video which exactly shows the problem but I do not know how to upload the video?
  3. Maybe I should do the bleeding myself instead. Doesn't sound that complicated. Any particular strategy to be used (start in the front and end with rear caliper or)?
  4. I do not know the brand of the present oil and that is why I am going to drain the whole system and fill in brand new oil. The car will primarily be used for road and not track.
  5. Actually it says that I should use dot 3. I have bought Motul RBF600. Its "only" dot 4 but as far as I can read on various sites, this oil is top dollar.
  6. Then it makes sense. Now that I have your attention. When I removed the cap from the clutch fluid, there was a small rubber-something floating around in the oil. Is that normal?
  7. And it is normal that on both caps it says brake fluid :-/
  8. Good day. Well this might be a stupid question, but I am still new to some of this stuff I will soon get my brake fluid changed at a car shop but earlier today when I looked at the engine bay, I discovered that there were two places where the brake fluid could be filled? What's up with that? Which one is the correct one and is there something that I need to inform (precautions to be taken) the carshop before they start changing the brake fluid?
  9. Is it because the HP will increase with more than 20% ? Without knowing, isn't it just a matter of proving that the car parts such as brakes, chassis etc. will be able to cope with xxx HP?
  10. Do you know the specs on the brackets? If I look at APR homepage, it is possible to purchase new brackets with the measurement 8" whatever that means?
  11. Yeah this is probably the best choice for me. Unless I choose the APR 300 and purchase some special lower brackets.
  12. The height looks right but the wing itself looks to "straight" for me.
  13. Then maybe this is the solution. Either by lower height legs or custom make some :-) EDIT: Do you have any pictures ?
  14. Hello Folks. Nearly a year ago I bought myself a Supra and I have always been a big fan of the look of a rear wing. Especially GT wing's which I think gives a Supra the right look. I convinced myself when I bought the car that I will try an see if I could live without a wing and the conclusion is no. The previous owner (Jamie P.) had mounted a Sard GT wing and yes it looks OK but I think the wing is too high (If you know what I mean). I really dig the Do-Luck wing but something inbetween the Sard and Do-Luck would be perfect. I did some search on E-bay and noticed this wing (ARP GTC-500). Does any of you have any experince with this wing? I know it is mounted on the Whifbitz Supra and it doesn't look lower than the Sard GT wing. Your suggestions are more than welcome. This is how the car looks today: This is how the car looked liked with the Sard wing:
  15. I have some nice shots of the wheels, will post some of them tomorrow.
  16. Front: 9.5x19" Riverside Trafficstar Rear: 12x19" Riverside Trafficstar No the garage is located around 1 km from my appartment. I have a second car so it is not a problem to get back and forth, but of course it would have been better if the garage was closer too my appartment. You can't always get what you want
  17. Haha You are absolutely right and that is why I am going for something like this on the walls. One of my mates Porsche: The car have "only" had two owners since Jamie. Me and the guy who bought it from Jamie.
  18. Sounds great and expensive ;-) but I assume its both garage and house? Two months more and the Supe will be ready for the roads.
  19. You can have any brew you want as long as it's a Corona
  20. After a few days of work, the garage is starting to take shape.
  21. Next to my Brothers BMW. One of the best car's I have ever driven.
  22. I am planning to give the interior an overhaling. I am thinking alacantara in the cabin with red or blue stitching (Depends on if the car is getting a new paint) New ICE with some high end products (Not the Classic big sub. in the boot but a very clean ICE installation) Polish rims. Install traction control. The engine itself is OK for now. It was rebuilt by the previous owner and runs smoothly. It is a very nice car indeed. Love the bodykit
