  1. Now I think twice, it was actually a stupid question. I should use IG1 since IG2 only will be on for s short period. Edit. Also see now that you suggest IG1 Thanks mate.
  2. So which one do you suggest I use for gauges etc?
  3. I’m about to install gauges which of course shall turn on when you turn on the ignition. But when I look at the wire diagram, there is apparently two wires. One for ignition 1 and one for igntion 2. Which one should i chose and why is there two?
  4. What are they worth? Planning to sell mine.
  5. Found out it is looking like that because the plastic has been broken of. I assume it is not correct to drive with the valve like that so my question is now if it will hurt anything if I just block of with a bolt?
  6. As subject state. Any of you seen this alternative solution before. There is nothing attatched to it which to me looks strange now that there is an o-ring at the end.
  7. The adapter is a genuine Greddy adapter. So I doubt that it is from Ebay :-) I just looked up how the thermostat spring works and according to this picture the oil flow is the opposite of what you are writing?
  8. Not saying it isn't but when being installed in an external adapter, I have been told that they should be mounted that way.
  9. Evening. 1) about to install oil pressure and temp. sensors. I have read that the pressure sensor should be located where the oil enters the engine and the temp. sensor should be located where the oil exit the engine. But how do I know which side is the exit and which side enters? 2) What is the function of this black box. There are no text written on it.
  10. One final question though. This adapter is right now fitted with both a pressure and temp. sensor. I am going to replace those sensors with new ones. Is it irrelevant where the temp. sensor is plugged in. I mean, wil there on one side be the hot oil and the cold on the other side due to it has gone through the aftermarket cooler.
  11. I guess my real question is. If I keep the oem oil cooler can I then settle with a smaller aftermarket oil cooler?
  12. My car is running 900 bhp so don't think it is a good idea to remove the external oil cooler?
  13. Evening Forum. Recently bought myself a new Supra and are right now doing some maintanence work. I noticed that the original oil cooler and an external oil cooler is mounted. Should I keep it that way or does it make a difference if i removede the original cooler. My plan is to relocate the oil filter so while I'm doing that I might as well remove the original oil cooler. Any thoughts.
  14. Funny that you mention that because I have noticed that it takes some force to turn the steering wheel. Maybe it has something to do with this. Anyone who has a diagram how the power steering reserviour shall be connected?
  15. Well, if one wants to meassure air pressure in that location, it must be quite critical that the nipple is not blocked/filled :-/
  16. Does anyone know what this nipple is for? Right now there is nothing attached to it
  17. Evening Forum. Just trying to expand my knowledge a bit. What is the exact function of that small electrical cooling fan? I noticed on my old Supra that it was running all the time, but on my new Supra it isn't there due to I am running electrical fans.
  18. Thanks. Will try and find a new cooler. Sometimes I wish I had the Supra manual so one can see how things are originally installed.
  19. It's still horizontal if you ask me, or close to be horizontal. It is not in the way of anything :-) Guess it is as it should be then. Just a little rusty.
  20. The blue cooler is the oil cooler. It will be removed from that location so it has nothing to do with the steering weel cooler :-)
  21. Can you point out where you believe it is loose?
  22. PAS? Assume it is abbreviation for the cooler? Sorry I'm from Denmark so not familiar with all the words :-) It is not loose, or actually it is just hanging there but it is installed to pipes etc. I have used a strip to hold it up so there willl be no unnecessary pressure on where it is connected to the pipes.
  23. The other day I wanted to allocate my oil cooler and when I removed the intercooler, I found this power steering cooler. To me the state of the cooler looks awfall. Would you reccomend to change it? If yes, what do you reccomend? The car is only going to be used on normal road/high way. But I doubt that it works at all :-/ I have absolutely zero experience with coolers for the power steering hence all feedback is highly appreciated.
