Rattling noise at idle - Trying to identify why this noise is there

Thanks for the suggestion. Since I'm going to check the cambelt tensioner, I will automatically also check the crank pulley. -

That sounds like a reasonable theory. As other mention, it could be the cambelt tensioner pulley. That will be the next thing I'll check. Will keep you all posted of my finding. Cheers. -

I can try and unplug the injectors one at a time and see if it helps? -
Rattling noise at idle - Trying to identify why this noise is there

If it is a bearing, wouldn't the rattling continue to be there when also revving the engine? I'm no mechanic so just asking :-) -
Rattling noise at idle - Trying to identify why this noise is there

Just tried with the aux belt off and the rattle sound is still there. I also did a more thorough listening and the sound is definitely (I think) coming from the front of the engine, around the cambelt tensioner pulley/mid engine. The tensioner pulley is almost brand new so it would surprise me if that is the root cause, but guess I should remove the cambelt cover and have a closer look. Freakin' pain as it would require I have to remove the crank pulley. -
Good day Forum. I hope you can help me identify the root cause of this rattling (in lack of a better word) noise. Or at least help me to rule out what it cannot be. Here is what I know: When the car is stone cold the noise is not there. After approx. 1 minute the noise starts to appear. The noise is only present at idle and disappears ones I rev the engine. I find it quite difficult to locate if the sound is coming from top or bottom. But I'm 80% sure it is coming from the bottom end. The video I have attached is filmed from the bottom end of the car and the car has passed the 1 minute cold start. You will notice in the video that when I rev the engine, the sound disappears. Don't pay attention to the angle of the camera. Just focus on the sound :-) I did a compression test not long ago and compression looks good on all cylinders. Hope to receive some guidance on how to narrow down to the problem (if there is a problem). [video=youtube;rnpY--BD6MU]

It seems like close to impossible to source seatbelt bolts (rear). So now I will try my luck at the local Toyota dealer. However, it is my experience that I need a part number before approaching the local dealer. Anyone who can help? More specifically I’m looking for the following bolts. - Rear seatbelt bolts to attach the seatbelt modul to the chassis behind the plastic interior - Rear seatbelt bolts to attach the lower part of the seatbelt around the speaker area

My warning lights doesn’t work unfortunately. When I check the dipstick while the engine is hot I normally do it approx. 10 minutes after the engine is off.

Hello Forum. The reason for asking is because when I check the dipstick when the engine is hot, the dipstick only shows half full but when checking when the engine is cold, it shows full. I always used to check when the engine is hot but looks like it is not the way forward with my current Supra. Anyone who has ecperienced the same?

Good day Forum. Reallly hope that someone can give me some advised regarding this. The “door open indicator” in the display and thereby also the interior dome light and key ignigtion light does not activate when I open the drivers door. It works fine with the passenger door and bootlid. I have quickly checked the wiring behind the door sensor. I see there are three wires (red with white thread and two pink dots, red with black thread and two pink dots & white with black thread with two pink dots). I have checked the wiring behind the display also and found nothing loose. So instead of tearing the whole car apart (including removing the whole dash) I want to know if I can just run new wires from the sensor, og course it will require that I know where each color goes (assume one is for ground, positiv and signal to display or if I can run wires to the passenger side and plug into that circut ? Anyone who knows what wire(s) behind the display goes to the drivers sensor?

Evening Forum. I'm in a situation where I would like to sell my current wheels and by another set. I need your assistance to estimate the value on my current wheels and the ones I'm interested in. The ones I'm interested in is the ones I had on my previous Supra but I have no clue what they are worth? (They were already a part of the vehichle when I purchased the car). The current owner (the guy I sold the car to) has asked me to make an offer but I have absolutely no idea of the value (I cannot even look up the new price as they are discontinued). I hope that Jamie reads this post as it is his old Supra and I believe he bought the wheels back then. Specs: Front: Riverside Trafficstar 19" 9,5 Rear: Riversde Trafficstar 19" 12 My current wheels I have no clue either what new price is and what the value would be today. Specs: Front: Volk Racing GTS Chrome 19" (missing what depth they have, think it is 9,5) Rear: Volk Racing GTS Chrome 19" (missing what depth they have, think it is 10,5) For the sake of good order I have attached a few pics of my current wheels (blue supra) and the ones I would like to purchase back (red supra).

Looking for a set of doorhandles. Color is not of relevance since they will be painted. However, they must be fully functional. I’m located in Denmark so you must be able to ship abroad. Thanks.
-
Evening Forum. I have two questions. 1) the previous owner had made a key hole delete on the doorhandles. I’m in the process of remaking the keyhole again. Anyone who knows how it works? How does the key cylinder look like and is it possible to source one? Will I then have to change the ignition cylinder also in order to be able to use the same key? I have uploaded a few pictures. 2) Anyone knows what this wiring is for? (See pictures) Its located inside the door. There is no where to plug whatsoever. Could it be for the led light around the key cylinder?

Evening Forum. I`m looking for some new bodyparts for the Supra. I have checked out knightracer.com & grams.co.uk Unfortunately the shipping costs differ a lot depending on which page you chose. Can anyone reccomend Grams ? I`m located in Denmark so unfortunately it is limited to source parts domestic.

Good day Forum. Might be a silly question but I’m in the process of doing a manual calibration of the indicator for fuel level. Does any if you know at what point the indicator is when the small orang light start to lid up? Edit: a picture would be perfect.

That’s a picture of my old Supra. But the new one also has a charcoal filter delete. It’s worth investigating

Where do you look if the whole garage smell like fuel but you have no visible leaks?
