  1. Be gentle? That's gorgeous I know some people aren't fans of big wings but I love them, suits your car lovely
  2. Just topped it up on the way home with just a small water bottle it didn't overheat and the heater blew hot air I'm gonna order a cap and see if that helps it
  3. I'll check that aswell then what pressure one should I use or just a stock normal cap
  4. I'll try that on the way home from work tonite then and see what happens
  5. Don't really know how old it is it doesent look old mind I'll top it up but I'm just hoping that the water isn't going somewhere like a leak or head gasket I'll top it up using the halfords premix tomorrow and see if it goes anywhere if it doesent ill drain it and get the stuff from toyota for when I do the vss and other jobs Oh and I felt the passenger footwell it feels dry so hopefully that's not the problem
  6. Right I noticed when i parked up at work that my heater still wasn't blowing warm air still very cold, thought maybe its to do with the weather as its not a long trip, but then I noticed the temp gauge heading towards the red (it didn't get there as I turned it off) I know it could be a few things I.e thermostat, waterpump etc, but has anybody had the same issues might help narrow it down I checked the engine oil which was fine and topped the water up in the expansion tank which was a little low, opened the radiator cap and couldn't see any water, should that be full so I can see water in there aswell, I know it sounds a dumb question but please don't take the piss if I'm being thick lol Any help is much appreciated thanks
  7. They look like nice wheels aswell would look awesome on like a VIP style Lexus or something
  8. I cut mine off as it wouldn't un do, just tucked it under the car and not had any problems no lights or anything
  9. And there 275/30/19 the exact same spec as my last ones which gripped amazingly
  10. Yep it can't be perfect one week with the same spec wheels and then when you change the wheels be horrendous I could just have an off batch or at 3-4mm they just don't grip like there meant to
  11. Yep they were done before they went on the car and checked a day after they were fitted and were fine :-/
  12. It was perfect last week with the other wheels on which were the same specs like tyre size offsets so should be the same I'm just gonna sack them off as soon as I can I can't stand not being able to drive it properly
  13. Yep the same ones front and back and in both dry and wet they spin :-/
  14. Has anybody else used them at around 3-4mm of tread like mine are then to see whether its just my ones that are crap
  15. Just looked at reviews and there mixed some say amazing tyres and the others are the same things as I'm seeing I.e no grip and are solid and I must say they are very hard tyres
  16. Yeah man defo when I'm free one day and your not busy ill pop down
  17. There at about 4mm guess that's the reason then brilliant when you buy wheels and tyres thinking there's loads of miles left in then now I've gotta get new ones, definitely not happy now
  18. Yeah they are used but I brought them off the guy I brought my supra off so suspension wise and everything should be the same I'll check what model they are but really can't wait to get some of the ones I had before I don't feel confident at all driving the car like I was before gotta be way more alert :-/ Oh well ill check what ones they are when I finish at 6 and investigate, may look into selling the tyres and just buying the old brand again
  19. I'm sure there only 18 months old when the last owner had them fitted but I'll check when I finish
  20. Yeah they are fitted the right way round, they just perform terribly I can see why we don't run them at work Definitely gonna change them when I have the money, I'm not even bpu either so I'm definitely not gonna go bpu til I have new rears
  21. I recently got some new wheels and they came fitted with Bridgestone potenzas and all I can say is oh my god they are appalling! My old tyres were not the best and were £100 each yet they gripped so well very rarely lost traction, yet the new tyres literally whenever the second turbo comes online they just spin, even just driving on the first they can spin way too easily Has anybody else used these and had the same experience?
  22. Its nearly bpu apart from an fcd and to plum the 2 pipes for the boost controller its pretty much there I do know of someone with a ramp but is only free the odd Saturday but he's getting harder to get in contact with lately :-/
  23. Awesome mate I must say you do get some very friendly people on here if you need a hand with it I'm only half hour away so can help if you need a hand I got a tt auto in the end after seeing my mate kamal's, its ok need to do a lot of work on it soon though :-/
