  1. Rich the car looks awesome, cracking write up too
  2. Look on lextream they have plenty of info on the subject. However what car is the 1uz out of? I understand you have to get a soarer rather than an ls400 as the sump profiles are different.
  3. Have a look on TCB parts website. I believe they list them
  4. Five or six speed? Aftermarket or stock?

    NA-T Opinion

Expect to get some very mixed, heavily weighted to the tt argument here. Have a read through a couple of build threads and see what the issues and problems were vs the end result
  6. So your boosting without a map? Your brave, have you got a web O2 in there? I suspect not otherwise those numbers might scare you a little.
  7. Scott sorry I was talking about the stage four for the six speed very different to the stage four w58.
  8. You don't need this clutch on a stock na, my pedal was quite heavy . Cc state a 300 mile break in
  9. Have you checked the map clamp voltages? If they are t set the ecu will see boost which it doesn't like, Secondly where is you map sensor tied into, is it t'd into the stock map sensor? What boost are you seeing at cut? The statement reads that they have a generic map on their emanage, but I would want it on a rolling road to check.
  10. after speaking with david, the master of the auto box he metioned that its comparible to the NA auto box but with a torque converter in between the NA and TT although he mentioned it is rumoured to have a stronger oil pump. I was hoping it would be a good box for someone to have with all the bits.
  11. single turbo v8 looks cool, skogenracing have been doing this for years on their v6 ford engines if you need any inspiration
  12. Well i cannot be blamed for not using the search function, i didnt htink about the stock torque figures, rom what i have read the ratios are very similar except in one gear. This is not for my own use but maybe to sell on as a complete conversion/upgrade. ile look out the torque figures thanks Chris
  13. So as this box comes mated to the v8 1UZ is it safe to say this is a fairly strong autpo box comparible to the stock tt box? just trying to understand as i may have one lying around that i dont need
  14. Find a good tester, my guy passed mine last year even though she was well out. Isn't the fact the na is an import and not on the database mean they are tested against the tt and therefore pass?

    Clutch fork woes

Ile get my hands on her again Friday so ile have a look but I recall the click very surprised it just falls out. Don't really want to have to pull the box again but if needs be then I will
  19. Any idea why the clutch fork on my v161 randomly decides to fall out or any way I can prevent this? I recently changed to a sprung cc six puck clutch and fly, it's pretty juddery to get going and I'm not sure if this juddering is causing the clutch fork to fall out!? Although they just push in there must be something to prevent this. I didn't enjoy pushing my supra back into the garage this weekend. Any clues?
  20. Cracking news buddy, although the car looks like a remote controlled one with that aerial
  21. Welcome, plenty of tried and tested kits out there. There's also lots of topics on na-t conversions and the pitfalls. It's fun but can be a royal pita! As I am finding.
