  1. I think the wrapping and plastidipping is all well and good if your expectations are realistic and you understand it is not a substitute for a full respray.
  2. Ahh I was eyeing this up too. Definitely a good price for a fresh import A friend imported a car through Torque GT earlier this year and I've spoke with them regards a TT6.
  3. Lovely looking car but a shame about the mileage. To some prospective buyers it won't phase them at all as after all a lot of cars get clocked at import anyway, allegedly, and this one has a recent(ish) engine rebuild. On the flip side of the coin other people will still think about resale value when it's got 160K on the clock and the fact that even with the engine rebuild most of the other components have still been subject to 140K miles worth of wear. Personally I'd stick it up for £8000 and try your luck. Someone may fall in love with it based on the spec and the looks
  4. As Shane has just stated above, they won't directly fit a TT unfortunately You'll need a different fuel rail.
  5. Awesome looking car and it was great to meet you at the 21st meet
  6. There was a group buy for the leather covers on here a while back. I'm not sure how people got on but have a search
  7. Looking much better Some leather seats now in the front would really finish it off!
  8. I'd be gutted for the person who bought it personally. Nothing worse than someone buying a new car and having to turn round and tell them their new pride and joy is actually a shed
  9. He's all sorted now, he's managed to get some tickets for him and his partner and they're coming down with me
  10. I'll be there although I won't be in the Supra. Just paid for museum entry and the bbq afterwards
  11. As bodge-tastic as this will sound.. I would consider good old satin black for the head lining. It sounds ropey but really does work a treat. I found the carpet dye just wouldn't cover the head lining for some reason.
  12. I reckon you'll be in the 12's easy Craig!
  13. I ran these. 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 is what I ran and I wouldn't want to go any wider. I had the rear arch lips trimmed back but a roll would of sufficed. You may squeeze a 275/35 on the rear depending on ride height.
  14. Wise move, they look much better in black. Have you considered getting them re-trimmed? Shouldn't be a major expense and a nice subtle mod to set yours apart from the rest.
  15. Gutted I can't attend Rob but being the second day of the new job it has to take precedence For anyone considering going.. I've been to a few now... get there!! Great atmosphere with like minded people.
  16. If you want to build one and sell it to me for a discount price Lyndon, I'll happily take it off your hands
  17. If I make the move back to Supra ownership, which I'm pretty sure is the way I'll go, then it would have to be a TT6. Not detracting from the NA-T route at all, I just want something more original this time and less heavily modified.
  18. I think they're in my blood! I just feel at home when I jump in a Supra, it's the only way I can describe it. Like an old arm chair Don't get me wrong though, the Evo is certainly no downgrade it's just not got the same kind of character that the Supras have. I haven't got children and with starting my new job I won't have to use the car daily so the Evo's assets are suddenly a bit lost on me.
  19. Nice work so far What have you put on your hand brake lever and gear knob in the above pics though
  20. I fitted a facelift engine to my prefacelift Supra (NA). The only difference notable was the facelift engine not being fitted with an oil level sensor and the facelift engine loom obviously not having the connector for an oil level sensor even if you were to retrofit one. Be aware that this will flag up the large warning triangle light along with the yellow oil level caution light as the car will think you have low oil level.
  21. Having owned three Supras now and being on here for 3 years + on and off every time I seem to sell a Supra I get something else and a few weeks later pine for another one! Is it some kind of disease!? Currently moved onto an Evo 9 and whilst all round it's a great car with amazing performance... it's just a little soulless and doesn't give me "tingle in my dingle" when I jump in This club is a big part of ownership too, definitely. So... time to put the Evo up for sale after only a month of being out of Supra ownership... time for number four maybe
  22. Set the engine to TDC. Line the marks up on the distributor and fit it in without tightening the securing nut up. Get the engine up to temp. Bridge pins TE1 and E1 in the diag port and get a timing light to set the ignition timing to 10 degrees.
