  1. There isn't a speedo converter fitted to the car to my knowledge. It has just had a 110mph dial face fitted and still reads in KM. The speedo inaccuracy is more likely the circumference of the rear tyres, as mentioned by Chris above
  2. Really nice looking car Good luck with the project! I hope you know that downpipe is a perfect fit now you've gone to the trouble to heat wrap it
  3. It is definitely possible with your budget but you may have to play the waiting game or even consider buying a TT aero and doing a six speed conversion Any pics of the Monaro? Always loved them!
  4. Take a look at this.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ford-sierra-escort-cosworth-2wd-4wd-turbo-t3-t34-oil-drain-tube-/371163365685?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item566b0f8135
  5. Colour will play a deciding factor also.
  6. Need some closeups but it looks awesome from what I can see I think we met at the anniversary meet at the Falcon but didn't get chance to speak or put username to face.
  7. I used a 3mm hole in my oil feed flange for the XS Power T61 - not sure if that's of much help though.
  8. He sold his NA-T kit to me a fair time ago and then sold his Supra too!
  9. Just had a browse of the thread again to satisfy my RSP fetish! Good luck with the project and I hope we get to eventually see this at some meets
  10. Your car is one of my favourites on the forum I would be a little disappointed with the heated screen from Whifbitz though if it doesn't fit correctly?
  11. Really liking the sound of some of those features you mentioned.. thanks for the advice. I'm going to have a read up on Drive Club and "Share Play" now
  12. Haha no stress mate I enjoy tinkering! I can't get over how good that new exhaust looks. Really fills out the rear bumper
  13. So guys.. having only scan read some of the thread.. what are your opinions now the consoles have been released a little while? I'm tempted to pick up one in the next week or so but can't decide whether to go PS4 or XBOX One (I haven't owned a console of any description for a good few years now). The new Forza game looks good but not sure it's a deal breaker.
  14. Nice progress mate and some nice mug shots of me, Josh and Joe
  15. Nice to see it's being cherished It's a nice car, I remember going for a small ride in it some years ago.
  16. Nice write-up! Looking forward to seeing it progress
  17. It is very nice! I'm missing Supra ownership
  18. Current owner has had it a couple of years from what I gather and the previous owner was another member of the same family who imported it from Jurgen. I need to get back in touch with the owner and clarify as to what history their is exactly. I was told it had been serviced by a local TVR specialist and they did give me the name (but I've forgotten it) and there certainly has been money spent on it recently so I've no reason to disbelieve them. However, I would need some form of invoice, receipt etc for my own sanity and for if I was to ever resell in the future. I may have got the wrong end of the stick but I'm sure they mentioned there wasn't really much/any history with it, I'll get back in touch now and confirm either way. - - - Updated - - - You have a PM
  19. It doesn't phase me not having any Japanese service history as it could well be forged anyway for all I know and I wouldn't be any the wiser. I would definitely like to have the service history since it's been in the UK though. If it's just a case of lost receipts and I can confirm with the garages the work has been done and get some proof - it's no problem at all. Call me naive but I really do trust the seller in this instance and from what they've told me it's been comprehensively serviced in their ownership (same family have owned since import).
  20. Cheers for the heads up, I'll check that link out now. Good point about swapping the seats over too
  21. It's a very nice car indeed, I love gunmetal It's the drivers side lower bolster, the one people always catch when they get in the car. The fabric is okay it's just folded. I'll take a look at Capital Seating's website now. Thanks
