  1. I'm sure that will look stunning when it's all painted
  2. Great project and enthusiasm, looking forward to seeing it progress
  3. As above, really impressed with beading on the pipework. Nice work
  4. Cheers for the comments guys. Collected a RMM polyurethene front lip today and booked the car into the bodyshop for Feb 9th to have it colour coded along with a few other bits and pieces. I'll probably get the car back on the road in March
  5. Nice progress and bravo for braving the cold weather!
  6. If a harness bar will work okay in the Supra I'm interested in one myself, now it's a second car. My worry is that I have the seat quite far back.
  7. From what I remember I used the stock seat belt anchor points as I had the rear seats removed. However, looking back I doubt it was a great idea.
  8. I've done a few sets of J spec brakes now and I would say black every time. Anything else and it just draws attention to the fact they look small against the 18" wheels. Sorry if it's not the answer you were looking for. The colour on the car looks great though!
  9. I've ran fixed back bucket seats and harnesses before and the seats were great, the harnesses however were a royal PITA on a daily.
  10. I've driven both back to back and the aerotop didn't strike me as excessively "floppy" with the roof in. However, I was only driving leisurely. The owner of the aerotop I drove has said on numerous occasions he would prefer a hard top due to the flex from the aeroptop when driving enthusiastically.
  11. I'll give it a test fit over the Christmas break and report back. It's not the first time I've heard of poor fitment, which is a shame as they look like a quality item and are priced accordingly. Fingers crossed
  12. Lowered the car back onto the wheels today and took a quick snap shot on my phone. It's still sitting a bit high here but I liked the picture all the same. I removed this nasty cold air intake hose too as I'm thinking of designing/making/having made a custom air box. Intercooler pipes will be going satin black along with cleaning the green algae from the edge of the indicator I have just noticed!!! Also, with the inner arch liner off earlier today, I noticed that a grommet was missing/out of place so I rectified that asap. As you can tell I broke out the DSLR for this high res first image All little things
  13. Cheers Jamie. They're a whole load better than they were that's for sure.
  14. I think they're nice looking wheels but most Supra owners will be looking to buy 18 or 19"s. Try and advertise them elsewhere too
  15. Hi and welcome! You have a nice investment there Get some pictures up asap!
  16. Wheels have returned from refurb and I've also bought a couple of additional Supra Christmas presents! GT50 steel neo-chrome wheel nuts: Alloy shifter bushes: APR carbon cooling panel:
  17. Daft question maybe, what do you do with the brake hoses when the caliper is removed? Do you blank it off with a nut, bolt and couple of washers or clamp the hose? I don't really want to clamp the brake hoses in case it damages them internally.
  18. I'm planning on doing mine also so a guide is always useful
