Hey Manos, just checking in to see how my old car is getting on!
-
Just so you know, the premium for buying a UK car will probably outweigh the saving in insurance costs.
-
Hi all, Purely for valuations sake, could you give me a rough price you would expect to pay for a:- - 93' NA manual 5 speed converted to TT VVTi (still retains the W58) - 103K miles on the shell, 60K on the engine - BPU mods i.e FMIC, exhaust etc. - Coilover suspension - Aftermarket wheels - OEM leather seats - Non stock colour - Requires front wings and rear bumper repainting To clarify, this isn't my own, so please don't message me trying to buy it Cheers - Rich
-
Tempted buddy, this will/would be Supra number six though. I check the Japanese auctions daily - - - Updated - - - There's good reason though Chris, I do really, really like Supras' Looking at current values I was absolutely mental to sell my grey one when I did!
-
Hi all, As titled. I'm soon to be in the market for an SZ-R six speed, it would have to be a really nice one though. Preferably Recaros, UK brakes, excellent condition. Just a heads up if anybody is looking to sell then I could certainly be interested and willing to pay the right money for the right car knowing what they're fetching in Jap-land these days
-
Appreciated buddy Looking forward to seeing it progress for sure, that's a great engine in that car. Having been in a few NA's I can honestly say that was the sweetest engine of the lot. The R34 went and I kept the Silvia which I've not long done a deal with for an RX7 (which is soon to be for sale) and I may even be looking at another Supra!

What QUALITY tubular NA-T manifolds are out there?
Rich.2211 replied to Josh42's topic in Technical Discussions
I do have to say that Scotts does sound absolutely amazing, even just idling! -
Hi all, Checking in from a short break away from the club. What's the going rate these days for well spec'd facelift six speed SZ-R'? UK brakes, Recaros etc. Mileage 70K ish Oh, and this isn't a wanted advert but if anyone has one for sale then you know where to find me
-
Great to see you still enjoying the car Mannos! This really was/is an excellent car and becoming more desirable month by month. To think when I sold this it was at the top end of the NA market (and rightfully so) yet to buy the same car again now would be at least 50% more in my opinion. Anyway, great to see some progress as I have some great memories in that vehicle. If you decide to sell up any time soon, and I'm sure you won't, let me know p.s I'm glad you ditched those horrible arm rests, I stupidly swapped the mint condition original ones for them expecting great things and boy was I disappointed.

I'm sure a quick search online will reveal a few but to be honest you may be better buying a brand new item over in Norway if possible as the postage will be ridiculous.

Midlands Meet!! Birmingham/Solihull Area.....

What are you trying to imply -
So... a TT auto, NA manual, NA-T manual and a TT6 later I arrive at Supra numero five, a Black 94' SZ NA-T Purchased from Paul (pjavon), a mkivsupra forum member for the last six years, I certainly expected it to be nothing less than an excellent car and it hasn't disappointed. Original advert here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?325621-1994-Supra-NA-T NA-T build thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?258145-Na-t-build Walkaround video: The quality of the NA-T build and fabrication skills are a real credit to Paul and I'm sure he was certainly a little sad to see her leave the drive for the final time. Luckily the car is in good hands and future plans will to be improve upon what is already a great car. Upon collecting the car last Saturday it had the stock exhaust fitted but with a drive to Japfest 2 planned for the following day I decided it needed to sound the part and got outside at 6.30am Sunday just to fit the aftermarket exhaust supplied with the car The current spec is pretty much as follows: - 1994 SZ in 202 Toyota Black - W58 5spd manual - 18" Ultralite wheels with Falken FK452 tyres all round - BC Racing coilover suspension - Replica OEM skirts/spats - Facelift front & rear headlights in VGC - Facelift front indicators - Clear/smoked side repeaters - Focal front speakers and uprated rears also - Torsen LSD - Leather seats - Momo steering wheel and gear knob - Speedhut dials - Chrome dash rings - AFR, boost, oil pressure and EGT gauges in dash and A-pillar pod - Grey painted dash panels - Tailored "Supra" floor mats - OEM style skirts/spats - Motoria/TRD style cat back 3" stainless exhaust system - Boost Logic exhaust manifold - T61 turbo w/polished compressor housing - Precision 46mm wastegate - Large alloy FMIC - Emanage Blue piggyback ECU - Alloy radiator with twin electric fans and custom made shroud - Polished engine pulleys (not crank pulley) - Custom painted engine covers, inlet manifold etc. - Custom intercooler pipework - Polished engine bay dress up caps (brake fluid, washer fluid_ - 4" intake with 4" K&N filter - Stock 10:1 compression ratio - Competition Clutch Stage 2 - Painted J/spec brakes with Chris Wilson front pads - Bonnet dampers - APR carbon cooling panel - Custom alloy expansion tank - Sound deadened interior I'm sure there's probably more too but that's off the top of my head. Future plans include some cosmetic tidying, some more mapping and investigating a relatively minor oil leak. Alongside that then I'm not really sure just yet, just enjoy it for the time being I must also say a huge thanks to Paul for not only being an excellent seller but also his excellent workmanship on the car. Cheers buddy!

I'm definitely game for something... especially now I'm back in another Supra! -
I have also just left a deposit on Supra number 5, they aren't lying when they say Supra owners always return!
-
Hi all, yes it is mine and a huge thanks to Chris for the work he has carried out on the car. He even washed and polished it for me knowing I was going away to Trax at Silverstone for the weekend Power wise, relatively standard power as it's running pretty much stock boost. It still pulls well though in my opinion and I'm sure in the future there is some scope for a little more power if I want it.
