  1. Anyone having trouble editing threads? Edit button seems to have gone or is it just me ? Also if I search for my latest started threads etc. Not everything shows?
  2. A lot of good replies on here, thank you all for your input. It seems fairly unanimous that converted cars are worth less. Which is good to know. So if you had two TT auto cars, identical spec, mileage and condition but one had been converted (for many years) and one was factory how much less do you think it would worth?
  3. Would you care to elaborate as to why you think that please? I see people doing NA-t conversions, would these be worth less than an NA? How is a TT engine swap any different?
  4. I was just wandering what other peoples thoughts were on cars that have been converted. Mine for example, came out the Toyota Factory as an NA manual. It states this on the VIN plate. At some point a previous owner got there hands on a donar TT auto. Parts were swapped onto my car to make it a TT auto. This included the engine, gearbox, drive shafts, diff etc. Only thing that wasn’t swapped was the traction control system which lets face it is fairly pants anyway! All this was done several years ago. Since then I have bought the car and done many more changes. I took it to BPU and have had SRD hybrid turbos fitted. Whilst having this done the car has been checked over and I know it is in very good health. So now back to my original question, essentially engine and running gear wise my car is as it would have been if it came out the factory as a TT auto. It is rare these days to see a completely factory standard car. Most of us have changed wheels, suspension, BPU, single turbos etc. Isn't an engine swap just another modification as such? Just because the VIN plate states NA manual should my car be worth less than a genuine TT auto running similar modifications because of this? Or be worth the same as a lesser spec'd car? Does this mean that cars that have had full colour changes or other major work completed should be worth less as well? Technically they are no longer as per factory spec? Let me know your thoughts
  5. From what I can see in that pic font wings have indicators, they're located on side of front bumper on facelift.
  6. Now has LED rear lights and the rear boot plastics with holes have been replaced
  7. I get people doing this to me. I like it as i can see how my old cars are getting on and always happy to answer questions/queries they have on the car especially if I've done a lot of work to it As for myself, i still chat to the guy i bought my current Supra from. We are pretty much friends now. I Instagram stalk my F&F build to make sure it's still going (it's pretty much a shrine now, current owner worships it )
  8. I've not seen anything like that myself, I'd be worried as well if it was me. Maybe worth trying to contact eBay or PayPal by phone to find out what's going on before posting the item? eBay: 0345 355 3229 PayPal: 0800 358 7911 I'm not sure what there call centers will be like with the current situation but worth a try.
  9. So my carbon cam cover had some cracks on the front due to being over tightened at some point. I bought a Greddy clear cover and trimmed the carbon one to match: I then fitted some LED rear lights. Also have the fog light built in:
  10. Anyone have these laying around? They for the rear subframe. Tried toyota but a month wait and they're needed sooner. Thanks

Car made 361bhp at the wheels at 1.3bar. This was before the blitz access was fitted. Private plate included in sale Full bottom end rebuild in Oct 2018. Hi

  14. Hi Pete, Sounds like some nice additions to your car, sure it'll look amazing when done! I want ridox side skirts for mine I’ve got a do-luck bumper on the way and then I need to find a trial rear bumper (mix and match kits! Lol) My plan originally was to paint the bonnet same as you and leave the vents. But I've got used to the full carbon look now and kinda like it. I had to remove my cooling panel; the bonnet wouldn’t close at all with it on. However, recently I chopped it up and got it to fit but had to take a lot of material off. With me it was the right side that wouldn’t engage, I tried lots of times. I think a few have had similar problems with fitment. I messaged whifbitz about the issue on facebook messenger, they read and ignored it… As for the catches I wouldn’t run a carbon bonnet without. Seen what happens when just the stock ones come undone so many times. They’re not to hard to fit. I’ve done it a few times now. Hardest bit is getting the 2nd one to sit in the same position as the first
  15. Change of wheel colour from silver to anthracite. Think it looks much better
