As per the link in my previous post, all you need is a piece of wire or paperclip. Really is very quick and easy to do yourself

Have you tried checking for codes? https://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35920-How-To-Check-the-diagnostics-codes

With the brake fluid even if it looks full if it's a tiny tiny bit under what it likes that light comes on.

Thanks guys! I'm going to carbon wrap the lower center section to tie into the bonnet and roof I was surprised it didn't need trimming for the intercooler to be honest. Was just the sides that needed adjusting and the top center piece.

I have a set of the Gary England carbon ones on mine. The panels themselves needed some modding as they were designed to work with a single turbo set-up. I also had to remove the carbon canister to get them to fit. I didn't have to move anything else. I think they look great though

Always found supra seats surprisingly boring. Considering they were both out at around the same time the MR2 seats are way nicer. The fact you can move the bolsters etc as well if your a bigger guy is a huge plus as well May have to steal my friends seats for a day and try!

I've got my friends MR2 for a few days and I was surprised at how comfortable the stock seats are. Was wandering if anyone had ever put them in a Supra? (Pic of car as for some reason it won't let me upload one of seat lol)

I have no problem talking to people who are genuinely interested in the car. I'll often pop the bonnet; even let them sit in it if i'm not in a hurry. But, that drives me nuts! First few times was OK, but after several 100 it gets very old very quickly lol Used to get the same thing when i had the F&F replica with 'What's the retail on one of those?' or 'Overnight parts from Japan?' But i guess we have to accept these things when we drive such an iconic car! I much prefer it when children refer to it as a race car

Just seen one on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283935075815

Wish they'd put prices on the website. I hate that awkward conversation with the Toyota dealer when you want to order a part and it's 20x more expensive than you though it would be! errr no thanks... Perfect example the other day, little wing spacer 53878-14020 = £21.38 each! Has anyone ever had a door handle break? And don't you have to drill them so you can split them to paint properly?

Hello and welcome to the club! Great looking Supra

I still don't don't understand why just side pods are worth that much? What use are they without all the corresponding skirts and front parts etc.? Still see them sell often though!

I didn't use a grinder. Just a hand file as stated. It really is a tiny amount of metal. Just so the bolt hole will line up correctly otherwise it hits on it

you've lost me? Lol

Tools required: Wrench and sockets. Sizes: 17mm, 14mm Spanner 14mm, 10mm Brake line clamps File Tin snips or grinder 1. First off nice and simple, remove the wheel: 2. Next up is to remove the 2 x 17mm bolts from the back of the old calliper. I found it easier to turn the wheel to get a better angle and more leverage. Mine were fairly tight and needed some force to start them moving: 3. With the calliper out the way you can now remove the old brake disc. This will reveal the dust shield: 4. Now the choice is yours. The new discs are to big for the shields. You can try and remove the dust shield; I believe some have fitted UK spec ones in place. Or as I have you can cut them down to size and bend them a little to kind of work. I used a set of tin snips for this or you could use a grinder if your careful with what’s behind: 5. Next up is to get your LS400 calliper. On the back you will need to file off a very small amount of metal. This has no impact to the structure of the calliper. This took me less than a minute of filing: 6. I tested the fitment of the calliper to make sure I’d filed enough, and that it would bolt on ok. You will need LS400 calliper bolts as they are shorter: 7. I then cleaned and fitted the brake discs and bolted the calliper on properly: 8. Next up I clamped the brake line as close to the old calliper as I could. I undid the 14mm bolt holding the line to the calliper. I lost a tiny amount of fluid: 9. I then bolted the line to the back of the LS400 calliper (don't forget the copper washer): 10. With that done it was time to bleed the calliper. Remove the rubber cover and undo the 10mm bleed screw on the back: 11. I used a self-bleeding kit which attached to the bleed screw: 12. Several pumps on the brake pedal until the fluid had no bubbles in it, I then tightened the bleed screw: 13. Replace the rubber cover: 14. Check everything is tight, no leaks, then refit the wheel: 15. Into the engine bay, top up the brake fluid as required: 16. Time for a slow test drive to make sure everything works. Back home, check for leaks and you are sorted! Hopefully this will help someone. I know it's a basic guide. Was a fairly easy job, I recon about an hour each side. Have to say I was shocked in how much lighter the LS400 callipers are compared to the Supra ones. Can’t wait to get out on the road and see how they perform!

Little opportunity?

I put the car on eBay, it reached £15995 with 2 days left to go, i'm fairly certain it would have reached the price i wanted. However, after a long drive at the weekend and a long think in the evening I have decided to keep it a bit longer. If i sell now, with the way prices are going, i know i won't get another in the future if i change my mind again. So for now the Supra stays with me

Seems someone has changed something, mine are all working again

I've never had trouble before. Some of my threads i've edited years after starting them (when photobucket switched I updated a lot of old ones to keep pictures)
