How loud is the exhaust? -
Looking for a change of exhaust. Want a nice burble but not a drone when doing motorway miles etc. Anyone got anything? Car is a non-turbo of that makes any difference??

I'm guessing if you do it to a normal N/A you would notice the loss of torque. But if i'm turboing it anyway i tink it wouldn't be noticable.

I am wiring in an exhaust sound controller and have put the switch on the dash in 1 of the 3 spare spaces on the facia. What is the best way to get from there to under the car? Cheers!

Currently collecting parts to turbo my N/A however i don't want the intrcooler piping running over the engine. From what i understand i can't simply fit a TT plenum. I currently have a 4" kakimoto exhaust on my car and it's to loud! (I must be getting old lol) So what's the best option for a burble/bit of noise but not a constant drone? Car is used everyday and on motorways/duel carriage ways.

Rolled the arches this weekend and fitted the 19's back on, may go back to 18's in the future but love the way these look. Next i fitted some stainless dials that the previous owner gave me with the sale. Previous owner fitted the skulls, i tried to remove them but it was taking the rubber off the surround. Will sort at a later date....

Picked her up last Friday. 1993 Non-turbo manual. 65k on the clock. Went to pick her up and fitted the 19" alloys i had bought, but unfortunatly they rubbed the whole way home So i got her home and changed the wheels back to the old ones, got a friend coming Saturday to role the arches. De-stickered her, painted the grills at the front black and gave her a good clean. More to come....
