  1. If the pressure taking has failed would I not get any boost at all?
  2. That's why I put it in TTC mode to bypass the VSV but still felt wrong
  3. Have put it in TTC mode and it still doesn't feel right. Hesitant and the boost fluctuates until it's on full.
  4. Brother bought it for me off eBay I believe, I've changed it back since and still having issues. Boost is controlled by the HKS F-Con ecu.

  6. So... added a metal intake pipe and ended up with a load of issues! Found a damaged vac line so replaced that which made it better but still not great. So after some research I worked out the rubber joiners that came with the kit were too soft and squishing under pressure, and the clip that joined the 2 pipes was not air tight. Adding to the list of success, unfortunately I damaged the standard rubber intake taking it off so couldn't put it back on. So last night in an attempt to fix the issues I cut out the damaged part and combined the two. Seems to have sorted it (touch wood) Previous owner has now banned me from fiddling!!! haha

  9. Think I have the common problem of the seat mechanism cog wearing out. Made a clicking noise whilst going back and now won't go forward. Couple of questions, is it possible to buy just the cog and is there a way to move the seat forward again manually as I'm short and can barely reach the pedals? lol
  10. Changed the vacuum tube and changed the clips on the intercooler pipes I took off and so far so good. Fingers crossed
  11. I did that yesterday (disconnected the negative and left it for a while) Just took it out again and it's boosting fine?
  12. Car was running fine would boost easily to 1.2bar. At the weekend I fitted a metal air intake. After car felt odd. Had a look an saw one of the vac pipes had got clamped between the intake and a metal engine pipe. (black one) I got the pipe out and car felt better but since then it won't boost properly. It'll hit just over 1.0bar then drop to just over 0.5bar and won't go any higher. (possibly second turbo not kicking in?? But not sure) I have checked the pipe that was trapped and can't see any damage. I also had the top intercooler pipe off whilst fitting but again can't see any damage and they are done up tight. Any ideas please?

  14. Do you need to change the exhaust on a GT4 to increae the boost? I just had a boost controller on mine with standard down pipe and CAT.
