  1. Watched it this morning, such incredible workmanship!
  2. Might of been me! Think I went that way when I got my MOT Wednesday. Lol
  3. I know these say they're for an accord but the bulb size is correct and seem to be the best lumen? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F312237476465
  4. Found this after a quick Google search... "Some vehicles may be fitted with High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps. It is not permitted to convert existing halogen headlamp units for use with HID bulbs. If it is clear that such a conversion has been carried out, rather than replacing the entire unit with one designed and approved for use with HID bulbs, the headlamp should be rejected. "
  5. Yeah think I might try the LEDs, cheers guys. What size and lumen do I need for headlights?
  6. Stock headlight bulbs are worse than a couple of candles in a rain storm and with HIDs now illegal for the MOT... What's the best alternative?
  7. Not mine but one on ebay https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F274060905906

  9. So my car was using WAY to much fuel, was getting 7mpg!!!! So after speaking to SRD (think Lee's going to get sick of me lol ) and asking on here i narrowed it down to the O2 sensor. After using the following guide kindly linked to me by a forum member (thanks again melonman ): http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35940-Narrowband-O2-Sensor This confirmed the O2 sensor was a gonner! New one was ordered (Denso DOX-0228 (Non VVTI TT)) The car is running a lot better now and the fuel consumption has greatly increased, happy days!
  10. Yes direct fit. Lee at SRD kindly confirmed the denso part number (DOX-0228) before I ordered.
  11. That was easy. Ecu reset and now getting a reading jumping between 6 and 7. Whoop!
  12. Changed o2 sensor today (lost a lot of blood ) But now I can't get any reading on the multimeter. Just says 0.01 constently? If anyone reads this looking for a sensor opie oils sell them for a great price. Genuine denso ones: https://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-86117-denso-direct-fit-lambda-sensor-dox-0228-oxygen-o2-genuine-oe-part.aspx This was for my TT non VVTI. I don't know if part numbers differ between models.
  13. Have you tested these? I bought a set a few weeks back and they were faulty. They said they had a bad batch. I then went for denso ones instead.
  14. Checked using the above guide at warm idle. Think I have my answer. O2 sensor ordered. Thank you for your help
  15. That's great, thank you! I'll try it tomorrow
  16. I found the carbon canister loose just now. Wasn't connecting on the pipe at bottom. Maybe that was the fuel smell. I had it off not long ago when running amp wire lol Still can't see any leaks I'm going to buy an o2 sensor see if that helps, thank you. - - - Updated - - - I changed mine few months ago as they were shot.
  17. So my Supra is my daily. I use it to pootle 5 miles to work and back, collect the kids from school etc. I worked it out today i'm getting about 7mpg. It's a TT auto running BPU. I know these cars aren't good on fuel, but even that seems a little mad! I have started smelling fuel in the cabin a lot more than I used to, but I can't see any leaks underneath. If I pop the bonnet it's strong towards the back of the engine (injector 6?) or am I dreaming of a leak and should be looking at something else?
  18. Hello and welcome. I came from skylines as well. Supra is so much better Hope you find the right car for you
