  1. Could you guys post the link to any thread about V8 and Manual, please? Maybe im blind, but I could only find V8 and Auto, nothing about manual...
  2. Hi! Currently thinking of going V8 on my 5speed NA, but couldnt find on forum if theres any possibility to do that with manual, as all 1UZ engines went with auto gearboxes. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  3. I just solved this problem on my NA just bought. There were 2 problems at once: 1. Air leak in the intake system. 2. Distributor cap/rotor and spark plugs. To check the 1st one you can to buy an "Easy engine start" or "Cold start" spray from Halfords or petrol station (3-4 pounds) and spray it on the engine idling everywhere possible around the inlet manifold. If you feel the engine changing revs while spraying, try to find out exact place where revs are changing most when spraying and youll find the leak. It was a vacuum hose broken in my case, in some other cases theres an air leak through one of the inlet gaskets. After fixing this revs gone down from 2k to 1.2k. As it appeared bad ignition can also cause increase in revs, so i swapped Distributor cap/rotor and spark plugs from my other supra and it finally started to idle as it should. I hope it helps!
  4. Problem solved! There actualy was two black big cables to connect. The car didnt start because aftermarket alarm was blocking the ecu. One more TT Aero Manual on the road!
  5. nope... no joy... connecting black wires together didnt make the starter turn... I triple checked everything else, and cant find the problem...
  6. All done Rob, just the starter inhibitor wires in doubt... Dont know what colour wires to look for in which plug... ??? I just found the thread on forum, it does say different colours than the article, so it makes it even more complicated now lol http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=1396174
  7. Thanks Rob, but this article is quite poor, theres not even half of the things mentioned which needs to be done on conversion... and theres no information about the starter inhibitor wires...
  8. Hi! I did the auto to manual swap for my 93' TT Aero, but the car does not start. Which cables needs to be cut/ connected to fake the Parking gear position? Any other cables I need to know about? Thanks so much!!
  9. I couldnt fix my supra properly... So possibly meet you all at dyno as a spectator only.
  10. So we are not meeting somewhere and going all together? Or meeting there at the same time?
  11. Cant find what time does the event start?
  12. looks like im gonna sort my supra ready tomorrow. Will let you know in couple days
  13. No way... I read back to page 146 and the map was on 144 ))
  14. :D can i get somebodys phone no in case i get lost and desperate?
  15. Yes, I know there should be somewhere, but been 15 pages back and couldnt find it Maybe I'll join you for the burger challenge, but just as the spectator
  16. I'll be there at 8 tmrw for my first ever appearance can someone tell me how to find the carpark you're meeting?
  17. Ian, did the ABS started to interrupt when it got noise from RLTC? Chris - would you disable stock TC on your car with RLTC, or is this this thing not the right one to trust?
  18. I have RLTC installed and never had problems. My stock TC is permanently disabled (by removing a fuse from the fuse box). RL states that in any case of the RLTC malfunction , the thirst thing to happen is a total fuel cut off, so that's not very dangerous even if RLTC fails, so I think theres no need to "insure" with completely unstable stock TC. Never experienced that. Even on launch or 10% modes it does work when the boost comes up on the 1st gear, and you will never do a burnout if its on.
  19. I guess so. Have you removed acc pump from your engine Kaan?
  20. I want to remove all the acc system from my supra, so there has to go a new, shorter alternator belt. Does anyone know what should be the lenght of it? Thanks!
  21. I sort it out today. Hope there will be no more
  22. That was a racelogic traction contol ecu. I found a battery cable loosen to the fuse for ecu. As it controls all the injectors, so they were all cut off as trc ecu was off. Simple, but spent nearly 2days on the car and now have a spare igniter
