Hi guys! I used to own this bonnet and I loved it, but cant find exactly the same. Have you got any ideas what brand/mark/style it is? I have seen similar ones, but this one has air intake at the front and the center vent holes are lifted up a bit. Share your ideas. Thanks!

So what about the oil filter mount? Is it different on LS400 than SC400? If yes, you need to take one from SC and problem solved, if not - there shouldnt be a problem. Have you got the problem with yours? Honestly, I am worried about the immobilizer least. I have got the original complete immobilizer with wiring and signal reader, I only miss the key, but I have all the paperwork and service codes of the LS400 I took the engine from, so hopefully the dealer can make another key for it. If not, I know one guy who could bypass immobilizer here in UK. On the worst case scenario, I dont mind to put custom ECU, as Ive done few already, and the wiring is much easier than wiring the vvti ecu lol. I am a bit worried, as I didnt find how to wire up those two separate sockets, one by the ecu and one by the battery so far. And Yes, you got me unprepared with the sump :D Is it really bad with the bonnet? Where did u take your engine from? Have u got some pics of yours? Thanks for all these tips mate! -

Ive got '98 LS400, and starting with vvti ecu. Have some thoughts how to bypass the immobilizer. Another thing - I have heard some problems with manual gearboxes on these, as they only start if ecu gets P signal from the gb, but limits power untill it gets D. I have already got all the diagrams and manuals and studying , but theres like 1600 PDF pages.... omg I wish it was faster way But thanks for the link anyway! -
Hi! Finally got all the parts needed for 2JZ-GE Manual to 1UZ-FE VVTi v8 5 speed Manual SWAP. Things looking good so far and will start pulling my 2JZ out tomorrow hopefully. I had spent few night searching forums, but its not so easy with VVTi v8s as non VVTi ones... Have got most of the wiring found, but still some bits missing.... If anyone has any experience or wiring info, your help would be highly appreciated. I will add some Pics later on Many thanks!

Guys, anyone knows where to get carbon front diffuser? Cheers!
-
I got the spray station they recommend, it works, but I got better result with the compressor, but u need to know what size spray needle needed. Yes, you need to thin the paint, even if they say the paint is ready for use. The more you thin, the easier it goes, but you need more layers then. PM me if you're planing to paint.
-
I got the spray station. I cant imagine it can be done using the cans 2 cans of 5liters was not enough lol, 1 more commin lol ~500 Yap, will try to cover in carbon fibre.
-
Thanks for the offer, but i already got them

Other rims are in my garage, just waiting for new tyres, and the tyres are waiting to be bough lol and theres some plans for carbon front diffuser under the bumper. I went for Plasti Dip just because it seemed 'easy' to DIY (as im DIY guy ) and wanted the car in matt. It wasnt so easy as 'seen on TV' lol, but still possible. We will see how the paint lasts now.

Hi! Just finished respraying my Supra with Plasti Dip It was the first time for me painting the car this way, so lots of mistakes made and lessons learned For those who are thinking about Plasti Dipping their cars I could say - its much much harder than you can see on Youtube , and there are many scenes cut so you dont really see some of the main things preparing the car and peeling that sh..t off. So if anyone needs an advise - feel free to contact Anyway, I got rid of that ugly Silver and now it looks amazing and Im happy with the result Its not finished though as i ran out of paint, so few more layers missing and the colour will be even brighter. Its for your judgment now :D:D More pics commin when its finished.

Hi all! I'll do my best to show up next time! P.S. I would vote for a drive, or a tiny skid for some donuts, instead of growing up paunches at the pub lol :D
