I thought it was a tt not an na to begin with so naturally assumed he meant 6 speed. Still, terrible advert and a worrying sales spiel for a modified car.

I just messaged them asking for more details. Also asked of the person selling is a mechanic as they have either been told wrong information or the add is wrong regarding the gearbox. No reply yet!!

Hmm terrible advert. Shame a 6speed can't handle 480bhp.....

Can someone suggest a company to use to post two 17" tyres please. Parcel2go are quoting 35quod which is mad. It used to be about ten quid.

No worries. They are from a gte kit i think anyway but there was loads spare so sure some will be of use to you -
Yer i suppose in reality i only fitted the turbo kit on saturday so its not even been a week and im totally peeved that we cant get it to work yet. God knows what i'd be like after a year. Biggest problem being this is my daily so daily routine is fluffed right now!! On another note i did try and tell the time from the boost gauge at least 4 times this morning!!

Have not been able to sort the car yet unfortunately But did get round to installing the boost gauge properly, small job done whilst i was feeling defeated.

Are Maxis any good? - - - Updated - - - Yer par my bonnet my car is completely stock (and the turbo obviously) I may look into widening the wheels, but for now it is good to know the 255 width can hold up well

Ah thats good to know I wonder if the tyres i have will be ok then, well new versions of the ones i have They hold up really well now and are used on more powerful cars too...... Guess i will have to have a good search around and choose. Ill have a look at those goodyears too! Really trying to keep the stock look so knowing the 17's hold up ok is god to know

Ok so by the end of the day my car should be mapped and running a nice single setup. (Touch wood!) the problem is im trying to keep my car looking as stock as possible from the outside. Which it is Im a bit concerned about the thin rear tyres though as im running 255 on the rear, which really doesnt seem like it will be enough. Is there a way of widening the stock alloys, did they make wider ones or what is the widest width tyre i can run?

I assume you mean 6speed? Isn't 62k quite a lot for a clutch full stop?
