Oh really I was expecting an aux belt to be around 9quid new. If that is the case I'll come back to you, would rather buy metal for 30quid than rubber or nylon whatever it's made from! *edit* 11 quid for a belt.

Thanks David, i'll grab a second hand belt if i can then, or just not swap the alternator pulley. i bought the entire set for less than 30quid so dont really want to pay another 30odd for one pulley. It was an impulse ebay buy Thanks for your tech help as always! Im sure if i cant grab a cheap used belt a new tt one will be peanuts anyway

It says in that thread the belts are the same for tt and na.

Thanks. By the looks of that then I will be absolutely fine. The pulley may rotate slightly slower being large but the diameter Is very small. Also I note that the belts are The same for tt and na.

How much bigger? Can the tensioner not just be loosened off slightly to compensate? If the set isn't suitable i will just apologise to the seller and pull out of the transaction and pay the fees, literally last second buy as it was cheap. Didnt have chance to check first.

Can someone tell me if the power steering, alternator and water pump pulleys are the same on the na as the turbo.

They technically are only budget because of the price. They are a premium tyre at a low price to get their name up in this country. Used a lot in the drift scene abroad.

In this picture there is a small green led. Can i have it please or are you going to use it? There are normally 2, sometimes have little covers on too?!

You can get them on ebay Abz. Think they are 18quid and nice quality too.

Small update. 4 runner cap arrived today so will hopefully be able to fit the air intake to the turbo now. Removing the AEM asap and the new unit is being fitted and mapped towards the end of the month. A small delay, but with the gauges in place and filter fitted i will at least be able to poodle around off boost meaning i can get too and from the studio.

All to true unfortunately I was going to drive down off boost but then i had an issue with the map sensor so thought better of it. Car will hopefully be completed by the end of the month so i can come to the next meet
