  1. Yer if you dont mind please. I bought my Supra from him ans just wanted to know if he found any other paperwork for it and if he sent the v5 off as i still dont have a logbook.
  2. I still dont have the log book. Hence my searching this morning.
  3. I was doing some searches online about my car, mot checks etc etc and 1 found that it needed a lot of work at one point: Nearside Headlamp insecure (1.7.3) Nearside Front Lower Suspension arm has excessive play in a ball joint (2.4.G.2) Nearside Rear michelin 235-45zr17 Tyre tread depth below requirements of 1.6mm (4.1.E.1) Front brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened (3.5.1i) Rear brake disc slightly pitted (3.5.1h) Front Brake pad(s) wearing thin (3.5.1g) Rear Brake pad(s) wearing thin (3.5.1g) Rear Sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened (2.4.G.1) Exhaust has part of the system slightly deteriorated (7.1.1a) Nearside Front Brake hose slightly deteriorated (3.6.B.4d) Offside Front Brake hose slightly deteriorated (3.6.B.4d) Offside Rear 2mm Tyre worn close to the legal limit (4.1.E.1) Offside Rear Upper Suspension arm has slight play in a pin/bush (2.4.G.2) Corrosion on both outer sills Age cracking on o/s/f tyre Wear on edge of n/s/f tyre But not only this was a uber late registration. In fact it was registered on the last day of Decemeber in 1995 almost making it a 1996 reg car. Just thought that was quite nice to find i gained some months on her life!
  4. Im looking for someone who know marc_p or has a way to get hold of him
  5. I want it. Just hard-up with the lead up to crimbo and got my underseal to pay for.
  6. Cheers. Ok i shall order a fuel filter too. I was going to get an oem bonnet as soon as i got the car home, but i've fallen in love with the one on it
  7. Ok thanks for the advice. I may consider a manifold and 1st decat. Its not too loud now so i do have some dB to play with!
  8. Good tyres all round. Backs are getting replaced soon. The suspension looks as if the shocks have been changed in the not too distant past. And all feels well. The springs look a bit tired but i've seen worse. Had rich at dynodaze look over all the bushes at check them and they all seemed spot on.
  9. Do you think removing the 1st cat on mine it would be better then? I have a 3" 2nd decat leading to the following pipework:
  10. Think manifold is the answer then :-) Did the mines up mpg or just smooth out power delivery?
  11. Ill loose too much back pressure removing the first cat as well.
  12. The only thing im adding is a turbo front lip. Other than that im happy, unless stock skirts come up in red.
  13. That could work. Are all the chrom bits in your pic, chrome parts or did you have them painted chrome? Looks awesome!
  14. I love it everytime i get in it. I just want to make sure i have done everything possible to keep her healthy. I love bling, but before that i want mechanical perfection
  15. Since becoming the owner of my supra i have done a fair few bits to it but just wanted to see if anyone thinks ive missed anything. The car is a 1995, imported in 1999, 5 speed manual non turbo. Mileage is around 105,000miles. So since buying the car i have done the following: New pads and disks New dizzy/rotor New iridium plugs & leads 2 x new lambda sensors New air filter, oil filter and engine oil change Diff oil and gearbox oil change New alternator New exhaust and 2nd decat Coolant drain and change The clutch was also done at around 30,000km ago. Im further planning to get the under-body sealed and change the brake fluid and 2 new rear tyres. (Please no one say turbo Big plans are in the pipelines for coupe years time)
  16. Spot on thanks for the advice. Do you think the little ones would help my headlights or should i just paste them with loads more sealant stuff.
  17. I cant get a car cover i park on a random road not outside my house as there is no parking and i'll look like a mook using one... But thanks for the advice. im guessing there must be a seal somewhere that is letting air moisture in but not actual water. Im guessing either replace many seals or just deal with it. Do you think one of those plastic dehumidifier packs would help? Like this.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8-x-INTERIOR-DEHUMIDIFIER-DAMP-MOISTURE-MOULD-MILDEW-TRAP-AIR-FRESHNER-/350651650086?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Hearing_Cooling_Air&hash=item51a4779026
  18. Yet again looking for a spot of help with my Supra. Since the weather has got colder and the cars have been getting icy and condensationy, ive noticed that my car is getting a large amount of condensation on the inside of the windscreen, the car also smells a bit damp. Ive checked absolutely everywhere inside and it is bone dry. It is also a hardtop so no leaky seals. Anyone have experience with this? I had an old escort that did it too but was never as bothered by it being an escort....
  19. What bushes is it in the rear kit Paul... Is it all of them?
  20. Do poly bushes not reduce the possibility of torque steer by being a much tougher bush?

    speakers

Spot on thanks. Coaxial are the ones with the small tweater mounted over the single cone, would a pure single cone not be better in the rear? Do you have stock size front speakers?

Ok so would say a £100 budget be an upgrade on stock. I'm just trying to gauge what is needed to be spent....

Spot on thanks. I was looking at these. Are these available for sale as i dont have a jigsaw anymore since it caught on fire! Would it then be best to put coaxial in the front, single cone with a tweeter and then single cone speakers in the rear?
