  1. Advan 3 spokes are nice http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/1063/aaato6.jpg
  2. Ok thanks. I guess its just called a led surround or casing..
  3. Oh where do i get one of those?
  4. I have an immobiliser fitted to my car and have a little red led that is below all of the cd player etc, where the 3 blanking plates are (on an n/a). Basically the led it just sitting in a hole thats been made currently. Anyone got a good way of tidying this up? I cant think of a way to make it look better.
  5. Advan 3 spokes are loads nicer imo. You sure they are 17" as they look tiny... I like your wheels though.
  6. Spot on thanks for this. That makes a big difference. Are they lighter due to the vvti system needing to be able to make numerous changes all of the time? (I have been trying to read up on vvti as i have never had experience with it before)
  7. I am going to do all the work myself so dont want a pre-done one. Im also aware that the bottom end on the n/a is stronger than the tt according to a few people, but that could be incorrect.

Not to worry. pm on the way. How long till your arm is better, if your not desperate for a service i'd hold off and save yourself a LOT of monies Ill check there isn't a full service write-up on here first and if not will put something together for you....

I'll pm you a couple of garage names. Tbh though a simple service you can do. I can write a walk through for you if you like, the only marginally tricky bit is changing the plugs but there is an excellent write-up on here!
  11. Ive seen these before. Toyota did make the piping without boxes but not sure for what. I've seen it a lot on us forums.....
  12. Cheers. It seems that the vvti would allow for more tweeking compared to the standard ge.
  13. I'd love to see this car :-D You are very close too, so i may be lucky!
  14. Do you also happen to know whether the vvti n/a engine ecu is capable of being mapped. I've been told the standard 2jzge is not.
  15. This sounds very interesting indeed! I think i may look further into it. The economy gains (before modding) also seem a bonus. Also are the rods on the vvti thinner/weaker, i remember reading something about this with the vvti gte engine.
  16. oh dear that was a genuine mistake!
  17. Its quite a lot of money really, considering how much gain going single gives. Still lots to think about then. I guess one advantage having a non vvti is that the engine itself is less complicated, in theory making it easier to work with.
  18. Tbh i wasnt planning on going the tt route, but if this engine had been a huge advancment on the one currently in my car i would have swapped and used that as the basis for my build next year.

  20. What price do tt lumps usually go for?
  21. I got quoted 350 for front rear and sideskirts, not blended mind you, but painted and fitted. (They were very good make so little was needed to fit them)
