Cheers, this may just give me some motivation to get it done.

There is just need to get them on my computer now, finish editing them and upload. Ive been uber lazy and not done it yet.

The wing needs pulling out ever so slightly and respraying tiny job. The bumper is a tiny bit of fibre glass repair as the crack is just surface. The place is a great body shop and I trust them completely. So it's not being stuffed with filler or anything. It is a minor repair and a lot of respraying.

Just got the repair quotes in: Repair bumper and respray - £200 Beat panel and respray - £150 Blend into rest of car - £150 Just spoken to the woman too and bloody brilliant but she is posh and wealthy and willing to pay for the damage without using insurance :-D

Outer respray original toyota colour, removal or aerial and repair to bonnet. 1200. Great bodyshop too!

Are you joking . I got quoted 1200quid for a full respray?! Its only spraying thats needed ill fit myself.

I meant a quote to have a wing and bumper sprayed. In terms of repairing the bits the wing would need bending back out so its easier to just put another one on. The bumper is cracked and been pulled away at the light so im guessing the fastenings have been damaged too. So in reality i guess just replacing the bits would be best. Just concerned about the colour not matching :-/

Yer i didnt have my camera on me and its snowing pretty bad, will get some tomorrow. Ok 500quid doesn't sound too bad! I wonder if a bodyshop would be interested in repairing whats there or just replacing.

Came back to the car park today and have found that someone has driven into it. The wing is bent and the bumper has been pulled out and has a crack in it. Thankfully i have a note with a phone number! Can someone estimate me a repair cost please so i can ask for that amount. The wing can be bent out i would imagine and the bumper is repairable but both will need painting.

I think that it is just that the tyres i have really are crap when the roads are at all wet. Ive read a lot of reviews about the GT now and they have performed very well at tests better than many of the higher priced ones so i think i will give them a go. ive gone for the newer style only just come out, they are slightly softer and wear quicker, but the grip is much better improved in all conditions according to reviews/tests etc. Once again cheers for assistance guys

Pretty good then will compare to the hankooks if they do a review for them. Looks like the gt have scored very highly. May take the plunge. Can get them for 88fitted too!

I have Bridgestone on rears continental up front.

Has anyone heard of a brand called gt. just been recommended them for tyres. Also I'm running 225 up front and 245 on rear. Gonna fit 255 and change the fronts in due Time. Car was fine in dry. Could wheelspin like mad in first if trying but uber grippy normally.

That was the first thing i fitted. They said i would get HUGE gains! Im wondering if i do have aftermarket cams in there though, its getting opened up in the next few weeks. Either that or it is just totally different to anything iv ehad before.

Ill have to take someone out in mine then. Their is a real shift in power, i took my friend out the other day as he'd just got a 350z (i was telling him he should've got a supra) and he commented and asked about it then.... I film a video of the tacho too, as the car accelerates hard then much harder at this 5,000rpm sort of area.

Haha I have had a much more powerful turbo car before the Supra (my mr 2) and have done some very amateur racing, so im ok with power. But the Supra is very different na to any ive had before. Is it an active throttle body or second stage to it because their is a real thump of power at the same point in each gear. Feels like my mr2 turbo did when it was standard running a tiny ct26.

I didnt get a printout no but i did have a look at the screen when i went back. Its not so much twitchy, it feels as it should, its just very easy to get the back out. The main time is when the second surge of power kicks in at around 5,000rpm, if its at all greasy in a straight line in first or second i will spin the wheels up even in a straight line....

Hmmm, Im leaning towards Hankooks then. i didnt notice the Khumo are track tyres. The Hankooks have amazing reviews and were great on my MR2 so im thinking they will be good again. I need to double check what tyres i have on the front now too! The tyres are a bit low in tread, but its a no to all the other questions, par being the wrong size. I guess i can hope for it to get a little better with new tyres. - - - Updated - - - Ive heard good things about these, but never had them before. What price would 2 come in at?
