Great thanks :-D Yer i know they are, i think they make it seriously difficult to cover the science aspects on the NVQ? Either way im hoping my physics will give me an advantage :-/ Guess we'll see. Ill make a start and send it over.

Nope i have nearly got the 4 years experience though and have an existing tester recommending me. So i have to take the dreaded NTTA, but thankfully it looks a dam site easier than my physics Alevel. But we will have to see..... Should i go through and then email you my answers? Would be a big help :-)

Its just your eyes No the paint is still not perfect but a full respray will sort that in the next year, few blemishes here and there. However the front is the same colour/brightness its just the light in that picture.

How did you find polybushing? Im looking to do mine very soon. How long did it take you and would you advise getting spare parts to bush and then swap over or taking parts off bushing a putting back on again? My car is a daily runner hence that question.

Also does anyone know if any supra can have a window spoiler fitted. Ie are the mounting points there etc?

Im in your same position. My main thought at the moment is Toyota reliability (tt) or going na-t and relying on my n/a engine and mechanical work i complete / have completed. But cost does come into it. A blown na-t means a new n/a engine (Pounds), a blown tt engine could mean thousands. But then again tt are pretty dam reliable. Guess im still confused which to do!

Toyota have had a problem with this. Ive had celica's and mr2's come to me with original paint that has started doing this. Dont know why, but it has been present on a few. Some got away with sanding back and bringing back up. But the worst were taken right back and resprayed.

I retract my alternator comment after seeing the video. It sounds like grinding or a bearing type noise from the video, although videos can make it sound completely different than 'real' life.

Id say that is just a new door and the rest is very light repairs. Door will need to be painted and then the panels will need to be blended thats where the pennies will come into it. To give you an idea of cost i just had, Front bumper repair (big crack), respray font bumper Front wing bent, repaired, then respray Rear bumper respray, blend into rear quarters (a lot of paint!) Cost £600 (Hope that gives you an idea of cost.)

Yer i looked into it too. Found a full kit for around £1100, so not too bad, but a lot for small gains. Just remove the intake pipework and put a sock on the existing single throttle body, that'll give you the same sound

Im trying to spruce the last few bits of the Supra up and have a few questions. I need, 1. rubber seals that go around the inside of the doors 2. plastic that goes at the bottom outside of the windows 3. orange front bumper indicators 4. panel around driverside switches 5. full set of wheel nuts for 17" wheels 6. Ideally a pro to help with my dam headlights that wont stop fogging up! Not sure if its best to get new or old so advice, prices, general assistance please

Not to go off track so much, but the place i took my car to for bodywork there was another supra owner there. Claimed his n/a was 350bhp, people werent sure why but he was in magazines and stuff with it! Didnt know what to say!
