I meant the layout more. But i would be looking at painting it gunmetal.

    Can I?

Yer im planning on going Na-t, thats one of the reasons im looking at the tt inlet, and also because it looks a dam sight tidier. But i was just interested if i could fit one now.

    Can I?

Im definitely not going full tt transplant, that has now been decided. What would i benefit from changing to a tt head, apart from the intake fitting?

    Can I?

Ok thanks. I assume that the cost of modifying it to fit and actually buying it will cost nearly the same as buying a side intake specifically for the n/a.

    Can I?

Is it possible to fit a tt inlet manifold to an n/a?
  6. Was a good power figure! Good to meet you too!
  7. What are you having done Adam? If you told me yesterday i've forgotten sorry
  8. That carbon wheel is going to make a fortune! Only just clicked looking through the thread again it was the Super Super clean supra!
  9. Thats very rubbish :( Are you going to break what is left?
  10. True but still double what i reckon it would cost to send. I think ill save on petrol getting it delivered though!
  11. Ok i retract my outrage at 8 quid delivery!
  12. Thats a good price new too! Had yours long, been fine the whole time etc? Wow 8Quid delivery for that tiny thing!
  13. spot on thanks everyone :-D I shall get one of those ordered. Come to think of it i have had a slightly rough idle too! I didnt even think of the coil I was working the wrong way back to other components. Just out of interest has anyone had a quote for a new ignitor from toyota?
  14. Right i've exhausted everything i can think of now but my supra has a small problem (Or problem beginning to happen). The last few days it has taken longer to start, whether the engine be hot, cold wet or dry. It will start but turns over longer than it should do, or has been doing since ive had it. The dizzy, rotor, leads, plugs have all been changed, so have the lambda sensors and a full service. It has also had 2 moments where it has spluttered a little, or been hesitant when putting power down. Im beginning to think this is more likely a fuel issue rather than ignition. The car has covered a little over 100,000miles. Would i be right in thinking that the fuel filter could be the culprit? Also completely unrelated i need a set of electric folding mirrors, in red, are these rare/hard to come by?
  15. Your insurance must be a joke! Looks amazing though
  16. One way you could consider if you wanted to keep cost down would be to buy a very good n/a rolling shell for peanuts and drop in a good tt engine conversion (around 2.5k). Just thought id suggest it, although it will never be worth the same as a tt being a conversion.
  17. I would steer clear of head gasket failures personally, these cars really shouldn't blow the head unless its been run incorrectly, in my personal opinion. If you have a look through the for sale section, past and present adverts you'll get a good idea of prices. im sure someone will be along shortly to advise where and where not to buy from!
  18. Really depends what condition your looking for. An mot failure could indicate its not been looked after well then youd end up spending the money on it fixing it whereas you could've bought one that was in good nic and running well.
  19. Optional extra, thats 1k more when i come to sell!
  20. They're also upside down
  21. Ive just fitted Gt's to mine and they are great! Might be worth a look, they have gotten great reviews too. Less than £100 fitted a tyre.
  22. Pics, not great unfortunately. Meet in Maccys, classy!
  23. No i was agreeing with you that proper timing equipment is needed. The only way we've done it is with stop watches.
