  1. How much does something like that cost?
  2. So its not possible to take anything reading wise from when the clutch engages? Never had a Viscous fan before. In my mr2 i simply unplugged the engine temp sensor and wired a switch in so that i could turn it on and off as i pleased. I would imagine you could do the same and just have them on a switch although thats not the best option.
  3. Could you not wire them a live feed from a 12v somewhere and then tap into the sensor that tells the Viscous fan when to come on and run this as a switch for the new electric fans? (Although afaik my fan seems to just be on when the engine is)
  4. Yer had a brief look :-) Was hoping for a few pics as ive not done something like it before but would like to run the tt one on my car
  5. A few did but there was also evidence of the 1.3 ones being used too Ive got a receipt for it being changed too and its from a Toyota garage.
  6. Did you document the tt plenum change?
  7. Good good. I mar have to send my headlights to you then hmm my car has a 1.3bar rad cap, i think i best get the correct one then!

  9. Is that the oem pressure rad cap? Im sure my car has a 1.3bar one in there. Loving the dash panels what paint did you use and also did your headlights stop fogging up?
  10. Looking good :-) You really bringing your car all the way from Devon to my town (Cov)?
  11. Especially when the entire number plate is shown in the pictures.
  12. *Read the first post wrong *
  13. Other than the dash and material holding the intercooler piping on it looks really tidy and clean!

    Can I?

Hmm doesnt look that difficult to do. I may see if i could do this too then, or weigh up the cost of paying someone to grind it to align properly. What is the benefit of running the tt ecu, or was that just so he could use coil packs instead?
  15. Id be slightly worried where the bit of the rad cap is? The indicators look great through
  16. Did they balance the tyres as well?
  17. Hmmm they do look a tad classier in that colour. I think i will have to research some good paint and suitable hardener for them too.
  18. Awesome job :-) Im not sure what i prefer? Maybe i should have posted a picture with the active lip on the car too
  19. Ok thanks. I think thats what i've described in my wanted section then. Hopefully the logos can be sanded off.
  20. Certainly am! Best wad of cash i've ever spent.....
  21. Its time to refurb my alloys as they are starting to look a tad tired around the edge of the rims. Im also unsure what to do with the centre caps. At the moment there are paint can lids but they work really well and do make the wheels look after market rather than stock! Should i keep these and refub them along with the wheels or try to source stock ones and grind the logos off (really dont like the logo on them). Ive also never refurbed wheels when the tyres have been on but i know loads of people have (using playing cards around the rim, bin liners etc etc). Does anyone have any tips or experience with doing this? Im also wondering if someone would photoshop my car for me. Im either looking to have the wheels done in the same colour or im thinking gun metal grey type colour. Would someone mind photoshopping the car for me so i can get an idea what it'd look like :-)

Cool thanks. I was just intrigued to see how much work was involved really. I was also thinking if it were a simple fit then for people staying n/a it would allow for a colder intake setup. Well i wont be going down the route of changing internals at all because of the power levels i aim at. I will look at the options for aftermarket intakes then Will make the intercooler piping much tidier i think once ive gone na-t/
