    ECU options

The reason im not looking to go mad on the ecu, not just because of funds, is im looking for a fairly reserved power build, low boost running stock internals.

    ECU options

To be honest the Syvecs is out of my price range, but in an ideal world yes i would buy this. For now it will most likely have to be a piggyback system. I been looking at the E manage blue?

    ECU options

I was wondering if someone could list a few options of piggyback ecu's. I've had a browse on here and on the internet but there are soo many its quite difficult to be able to choose. Basically i am looking for one that is not to expensive but will also give me (or the garage) the necessary amount of features to play with. This will be firstly fitted to my non turbo then will serve as the ecu once i go single.
  4. It is thanks Been waiting for the right weather....
  5. Very true. Although i didnt quite realise how lame the seal is on the ht leads. Im going to make a rain tray or change bonnet. Also im pretty sure i need to change my timing belt too now, everything at once
  6. Right had a good look now the weather calmed down. The first 2 spark plug chambers were full of water. I have cleaned these out and the car seems much better, had a few blips still but i assume this is because i couldn't quite get all the water. Im hoping it is rain water as apposed to coolant. I would imagine the knock sensor was triggered through excess vibration in the engine caused by a slight misfire? However this error is no longer present since installing a new sensor, but i did not know about the water in the chambers before changing the sensor so no idea if it were dodgy or excess vibration.
  7. Brill thanks. No codes now. Ill whip the plugs out when it stops raining. It,a still lumpy under revs but does seen to free up a bit the more I push the accelerator.
  8. Ok been to the car again. Fires up and was fine for a min then started misfiring again. Number six is bone dry although the outer dizzy cap is very wet?!
  9. It does sound lumpier than this in real life, poor video quality has taken it away.
  10. Here is the video anyway.
  11. Right i posted a little while ago about my car bringing up the rear knock sensor error. Well today i decide im going to go and fix it so i go out to my car and off i go. The warning lights didnt come on on the dash and the car was fine for the first few hundred yards and then it became juddery and very lumpy. It is now doing this all the time. I changed the rear knock sensor and this has made no difference but the error code did not come back on the car. I have checked the chambers 4 and 5 and niether of these had water in the them (i didnt have an allen key to take the cover off the check the others). I have not lost any oil, not lost coolant nor are there any weird deposits on any of the filler caps. The ignition system is all less than a year old. Any help would be great thanks. I have a video of it running which ill add to here too!
  12. Photo number 8 if it doesn't load on that pic! http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/Gallery-the-extra-mile-2013-03-08

  17. Yer why not i hear its really nice
  18. Yay mass Supra meet. We should all drive to the factory to say thanks!
  19. Hahaha very true, im hoping to get a stock one so that if i ever come to sell i can put it on. But for me i love the bonnet
  20. Got to admit though being on here and seeing peoples build threads it is very tempting to start making changes!
  21. Ill be the one laughing when my STOCK n/a is worth 20k in ten years
  22. I would say white too, but it shows how some of the black trim has faded and thats quite a costly job to replace it all.
  23. Ive got hold of some footwell lights and ive been told that these are the same bulbs as the dash ones. Can someone confirm this for me please and if you can still buy these from Mr T? Cheers
