  1. Cheers, i will give this a go today then. So far the car has still been running ok, so perhaps it was just the small amount of moisture that was the culprit.

    Rad caps

So the TT rad cap is rated lower than the n/a then?
  3. Gt Champiro Hy - Honestly one of the best tyres i have ever run and they dont even come close to breaking the bank.
  4. They are just Denso parts from a motorfactors as far as i could tell, they wont be from toyota though. The car was washed the day before the misfiring started, but i haven't been able to find excess moisture.
  5. Yer, There was a small build up on the contacts which i cleaned off. There was no moisture in there at all.
  6. Lambda sensors are brand new.
  7. No water, they were a tad damp around the outside of the plug on a couple but nothing major. Dried them off to be sure anyway. It was the 6th ad first cylinder that were a tad damp. The leads are only 12months old but i assume the age doesnt matter if one of them has failed. There is a smell of fuel from the car, even with it running ok now, but i can't see a leak at all from anywhere.
  8. Was looking for a bit of advice with my friends Supra. Basically it has just started misfiring. I have gone over the plugs, leads and ignitor and all of these seem fine. The plugs, leads and dizzy cap were all new about 12months ago and all look in good nic still. The car isn't pulling up any error codes nor is it loosing oil or water. Today i took the plugs out, unpluged all of the leads and put it all back together again and the misfire has gone almost gone away, i think there is a slight one still although its hard to tell with the loud exhaust. The plugs were a little wet, but im asuming this is the misfire that is responsible? Or could the car be over fueling and this be the cause?! Just looking for some advice please

    Paint help

Yer they are more like curved lines rather than swirls. Only visible in direct sun light and from a certain angle. Will it be a respray or can they work them out?

    Paint help

Likely to be damage caused by the body shop?

    Paint help

Looking for some help from someone please. Had my car flattened back and machine polished by a body shop on a couple of panels that needed it. However in some light at a certain angle I can see like curved lines, not scratches and they seem to be 'in' the paint? Will the polish have caused this or will it be something that has just been highlighted?
  12. I really like the panels on the side skirts.... I assume they are quite hard to come by.
  13. Hmmmm. I would suggest using the search button...
  14. Yer it is 2 rectangle gaskets, Was just the picture that was misleading.
  15. Will grab a picture in a minute when i start packing the car for tomorrow
  16. The blueprint part number i quoted above is the correct part. The old gasket didn't really seem in that bad a condition, just a little flatter than the new one. Anyway torqued it down, slightly higher than 8nm and all is well. Also managed to paint the cam covers, plug cover and throttle body whilst i was at it too.
  17. Cool thanks. Just wanted to gauge how tight I would have to do it by hand. hopefully it will stop raining so I can so it today. Also if anyone can confirm the blueprint part ADT36744 is the correct gasket?
  18. Ok thanks. I was told that but then other sources have said 5 and a few higher..... I will be working it out by eye then so to speak. Far to low for the wrench I have here.
  19. I can't seem to find an exact answer anywhere. But I'm lookin for the torque setting for the can cover on a non vvti na. Also if someone could confirm that the na has just one large gasket that would be great
  20. Anyone got a spare hour today?

    Triumph

That rebuilt one looks quite nice I think I may find an enthusiast to come and look at one with me. Would be my first true classic car.

    Triumph

Just wondering if anyone on here has a Triumph at all? I've got a major bug for the gt6 mk3 again and with the prices could easily get a nice example for around 4k. Just in case you need reminding what one looks like
  23. Kind of like the bumper, but the wheels
  24. I would like a couple of these for rear quarters, or one, once i decide if 1 or 2 will look best.....
