  1. Spent yesterday tidying up some cables in the bay and generally cleaning a few bits and pieces. Gave a lick of paint to some of the intake parts and scrubbed down the other sections to give them back some shine. Also cleaned the spark plug gulley etc and painted this up, pulled the ht cables together also to ensure that they dont rest on the cam covers. Bit pic heavy but here you go.
  2. What is this then? I dont have this on my car either and mine is a manual!
  3. Awesome thanks. Also did u but the induction pipe from a hardware store too? Or was that car specific?
  4. Im guessing if you have a front intercooler the condensor is pretty well hidden?
  5. Mine isn't working either but the main thing ive been told that goes is the condensor?
  6. I can go out and take some high res ones of my car tomorrow on grass if you would like?

    Heat proof

Im removing this section ringed in the photo. I was wondering if anyone has a suitable 90 degree silicone pipe, piece of ally pipe and the joining silicone. Or know somewhere i can get the bits nice and cheap cheers

    Heat proof

Also im looking at removing the middle section of the intake pipe, the bit with the resonator boxes in it, so that i can wrap the piping more easily. What would be the best 'pipe' to put in its place?
  9. Ta Thats one for 1.1bar

    Heat proof

I was wondering what heat proof wrap would be suitable to wrap an intake. Would the standard reflective radiator wrap material be suitable?
  11. After chatting on a thread yesterday I have now been told that the non turbo rad cap should be 0.9bar. I have also been told by Toyota that it should be 1.1bar. Searching the net brings up all different answers. So i was wondering if n/a people could tell me what they have on their car currently. Cheers in advance.
  12. Where did you get the heat proof wrap for the intake? The black stuff and the silver 'tinfoil' esk looking stuff?
  13. Ok cheers. I dont have my car at the moment so will have to wait until i get that back. All parts on the car are oem ones just not direct from toyota except for the leads so im guessing that this is probably the cause. Bit of a pain of a job having to remove 2 sets of intake and throttle bodies but will have to go that route.... Cheers again
  14. As in to fix the problem or to get the car to register an error code, or both?
  15. Yer its not pulling up any codes at all.
  16. Nope battery has been connected the whole time. And the car has done a few miles today and hasn't seem to have cleared it up at all. The engine is still a bit fumey smelling but i assume this is from the extra fuel it is dumping when misfiring?
  17. Ok the car is still misfiring. It seems to be ok once you get going, but is lumpy on idle or when you initially pull away. It will misfire once or twice when moving but is mainly when starting or first pulling off. I genuinely cant see anything wrong with the dizzy or rotor and apart from getting an electric shock from one of the ht leads, they all look in good condition too. Is there anything else i should be looking at?

    Rad caps

Im not having prpblems was just interested when i noticed the thread. Mine has had a 1.1bar on for a while. Strange why Toyota would tell me it is definitely a 1.1bar. There must be some false information somewhere out there then.

    Rad caps

I was told 1.1bar. Rang Toyota and they have also said the n/a uses a 1.1bar? Confused now to what i should be running.... Edit Just found 2 different part numbers for tt and non turbo. Non turbo is pulling up a 1.1bar rad cap..

    Rad caps

    1.1bar i believe
  21. Few more updates with the Supra. Machined the headlights so they are nice and clear again. I also reattached the front lip after getting advice on the best fitment from a few people on here Gave the engine bay a clean and treated all of the rubber. Also gave the cam covers and inlet a lick of paint when i was changing the rocker gasket.
