Also does anyone know a good place to buy the downpipe from turbo to second cat? Or would this literally be a turbo 1st decat pipe that i would need?

Im getting a map-ecu. I am going to use the base for the 2jzge, then allow the learning mode then go from there. Or at least use the learning mode so that the car can be driven gently to have it mapped correctly.

Will the ecu not give me this information back on the computer when mapping?

What is this? I have read up on the ecu im going to use and basically it said to use the base 2jzge base map, then put it into auto mode and turn the car off. Then turn back on and go for a gentle drive. Then adjust the maps accordingly.

Spot on thanks. I have all the big bits then. Just the smaller bits needed and the intercooler and pipework. Oh and also the exhaust from 2nd decat to the turbo. Im not using a map3 bar sensor as such low power also running the standard w58 clutch for a while as again running such low power but this will get increased to a better one Exhaust has already been modified from 2nd decat back so that is sorted too Got new fluids already and the coolant has ust been changed. as has the gearbox and diff oil. Going to road map the car myself :/

  8. Ok, so im going na-t and have sourced a turbo and wastgate. im using a 7psi spring and looking to keep stock internals. Im going to get an in car boost gauge to monitor boost but what boost controller do i need or how do i ensure that i run the correct boost for the engine. Can i get one of the manual ones and leave it set at the correct position under the bonnet and if so can someone post a link to i know the correct thing im looking for please.
  9. Me and my friend were going to buy this, dam i was hoping noone else would find it online
  10. Well out of my price range, i am going for the a budget na-t build. Also im considering modifying a tt intake so the turbo positioning is not an issue and even if i dont i will work around the turbo location. Plus any cracks i can weld myself until i get the layout right then start changing out for better components.
  11. Looking for a budget manifold to get my car to na-t and then buildup to better components over time. Would this fit or do i need a 2jzge one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-SOARER-1JZGE-T4-TOP-MOUNT-TURBO-STAINLESS-EXHAUST-MANIFOLD-/181238517516?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3ASupra&hash=item2a32a84f0c
  12. Could you give me some assistance with modifying the tt inlet to fit an na please?
  13. My mr2 used to do this. Turned out to be the top mount but you said you have checked this. I had to remove the actual strut to see where the problem was on mine though.
  14. this one: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=173539&d=1376238733 It may just be the picture.....
  15. Looking good Just out of interest is you aux belt ok? It looks a bit funny in one of the pictures....
  16. Have you checked your spark plug chambers for water or oil?
  17. Toyota often have these small bits on the shelf i've found and are only a couple of quid......
  18. It is a half hour to an hour job and the caliper can remain on the car if you really didnt want to remove it, you just have to be more careful. Im sure there is a guide on here somewhere, ill see if i can dig it out for you. If your not confident doing it yourself a local, non dealer, mechanic would likely be more than happy to do it for you.
  19. Whats wrong with your caliper? A seal kit is far cheaper if it is a suitable fix for you?
  20. Yer one of those. I have a slightly different one and place it above the piece of metal you are on about, then use a larger plate that came with the kit to wind the pistons in : )
  21. Or grab a cheap piston rewind kit of ebay. That way it does 2 pistons at the same time
  22. Thanks dude Done as much as i can now without dropping the engine and painting it out of the car!
