  1. What's his user name? Is It just John?
  2. They are indeed Another problem I have is the metalsmiths in work are rammed with work and I'm not keen on paying for it. I can ask again and see if they can make some up for me. I jusy have to be patient. So let me make sure I've got this right. The bits that bolt into the floor and attach to the rails (4 shaped but of metal with bolt holes) can be bolted straight onto the seats rails with a little part welded on? I thought that may have the seat sitting too low. I found that the rails aren't quite long enough to fit straight in with the parts bolted on. Is this the same for you?
  3. So I've bought a pair of nice bucket seats from a member on here. They aren't branded and have no markings on them to distinguish where they we manufactured. The problem i'm having is getting them fitted to the car (I knew this would be a problem before I bought them so no dramas there). I have sliders on them and I don't fancy the epic of dismantling the electric drivers seat to weld the subframe onto the new seats. So finally to the point. How can I find out what rails are best for me to use? They look very similar to recaros but I don't want to buy recaros and find out its impossible to get them to fit. Even with mods. These are some of the measurements on the sliders on the seats with pics Total length of rail: 310mm Distance between centers of rear hole and 2nd from front: 255mm Distance between centers of rear hole and forward most hole: 275mm Distance between centre of each rail: 395mm Can anyone help me at all? I really don't want to be wasting money trying to find out thanks in advance Tristan
  4. If you had a few other bits painted black is might look alright. But depends on the rest of the car really imo
  5. 1. DodgyRog 2. wile e coyote 3. listy 4. Buster 5. Crash Bandicoot 6. Slam and Karen 7. Twisted (Tristan)
  6. I'd buy that and rack up the miles on it. Cars are made to be driven not to be used as an ornament. Although it's pretty cool if those miles are genuine. Been thinking for a while there must be a supra out there with super low milage. Also that carbon fiber looking plastic stuff on the dash. Is that an optional extra? I had it on my supra but took it off because it looks ridiculous and cheap. Especially when you can see the original dash beneath. Looks like a poor and idiots man way of getting a carbon fiber look. Something I'd expect chavs to put on corsas
  7. This can no longer be called the new supra or even be associated with the supra in any way. It's a joke and has nothing but a similar shape in common with one. Completely against everything a supra is. Quite embarrassing if you ask me, especially considering Nissan brining out the GTR35 which compliments all past skylines. Looks horrible, and if they compare it to the GTR35 in any way they need shooting. Plus they said it's a Z4's replacement. I hate Z4's!
  8. Put the scoop on the current bonnet. That will be very different! Be interesting to see what that would look like
  9. Yeah be interested in seeing the genuine Toyota tool for it
  10. Cheers for the info Chris. Sorted it now anyway. Held the flywheel in place and it cracked off no problem. Trying to hold it at the front just didn't work. Wasn't too confident with turning it over with all the stuff un-attached.
  11. Spoiler activation lever and fuel filler cap release. Can't be for your supra though as it doesn't look like a supra on the pic
  12. And obviously that bolts into the holes either side of the bolt?
  13. I have a auto by the way. I'm not sure if that affects the process?
  14. Not that you need the picture but this is what my crankpully looks like. Those recesses are really shallow and bolts will just slip out
  15. Thank you but trying to avoid having to do that :/
  16. Hey guys having a little drama. Doing a timing belt change and I've gotten to the crankshaft bolt removal and it's so f-ing tight. Tried an air gun on it and that's not working. Biggest problem I have is I can't lock the pully. I've been following the how to cam belt removal guide but it's not clear how the locking tool attaches. I have all the means to be able to make a tool. Anyone have a picture/specs of a locking tool? Anyone have any tricks to getting this bolt off? Thank you in advance Tristan
  17. Aww man they are beautiful wheels but just not wide enough for the look I want. Even though they are at an outstanding price. The buyer of these will be well chuffed
  18. Will they fit over UK brakes? I'm looking for some wide wheels for the rears. At least 9.5, 10j ideal. If these are that with et35 offset I will have them instantly!
  19. 350 sounds a bargain! What's the spec of them?
  20. To be fair I do this as well. During the winter I clean it, drive it to Tesco and then it's just as dirty again. At least once a week in summer time though
  21. Because I'm too lazy to wash my own car and there aren't any hand car washes around that dont take an hour. So normally if it's raining I go out in it and class thay as a quick was
