  1. I've always really liked the trial rear bumpers and now I have the money to buy one I am very tempted to do so. However I'm not sure if it will go well with the current body kit, especially the skirts. Opinions?
  2. That's awesome bud. Thank you as long as its okay once I get some decent pictures I will pm you them for you to photoshop
  3. So it has spigot rings in there. They seem to fit quite snug. Just got the wheels rebalanced for free (it was free the first time as well) and its made a difference. It is better at 70mph but still not great when it gets to 80/90mph. One thing that was noticed before, a few of the wheel nuts are odd. The bloke in the garage thinks it could be because of this. As in they might not be holding the wheel on quite right. So I'm going to buy a whole set of nice new wheels nuts, change them over and see if that makes any difference.

If this is the case then my apologies on that part. My tapatalk app has been playing up on my phone as of recent with regards to only showing some of the post when people post. This is the second time it's happened that I have noticed.

In addition to this I know you have now edited your original post to read more than just the unnecessary sarcastic comment you made.

    Auto or manual

Well then if you're going to be pedantic about it then you're original post was completely off topic. My post was my opinion on the triptronic auto. It was to give the person who created the thread another option to think about if they was not aware of a triptronic auto. I may not have the experience of driving the manual but I wasn't exactly bias at any point. If you want to go on about off topic posts then I suggest you flag it up to an mod and ask them to put up strict rules on the forum about keeping it on topic. If my post was that off topic and it annoyed you that much then surely you would hate this forum as a lot of the time conversations start up in threads that end up completely unrelated to the original topic. I find you you very patronising. I stated that sometimes the search function doesn't work at all, regardless of what I put in there. However I agree that most of the time it does quite well. I know full well there are other threads on 'auto vs manual' I don't need you to post a link. Your post was sarcastic. If it was informative then I fail to see how "I'm glad this has came up. It's never been discussed before" is informative.
  7. I've paid for two tickets now however I have a potential problem. The first ticket I paid for has the details of my old supra and the second has the details on my new supra, is that a problem? One of the tickets is for another car that won't be at the club stand. Do I need to give details of that car?

I can see how it may get annoying seeing the same topic over and over but clearly this person is new to the thread and some people just aren't quite together when it comes to the Internet. Also I have problems with the search function on my laptop sometimes where regardless of what I type it shows up nothing what so ever. At least be informative rather than sarcastic.
  9. Think of how busy the poor photoshop gurus on the forum would be though! They would probably just give up!
  10. that was my plan bud. I'd rather work my way from the cheapest and easiest option before going for a full on engine change ha I'll post up if I get stuck or just bring it to you and do what every driver does. Points at the vehicle and says "it's tits mate"
  11. Could it be that the tyres on the front are stretched? The front wheels are the same width as the rear but they have 235 on the fronts where as the rears has 265 on them. Probably not the case but just wanting to check.
  12. I'm picking up some new discs tomorrow so if its not the spigot rings then I'll try changing the discs. I'm glad nothing major has been mentioned though.

    Whoops!

Lucky the airbag didn't go off. I got hit there and my airbags went.

    Whoops!

Only if you put a sticker on that says "dent" with and arrow pointing to the damage
  15. Going to hijack this rather than post up another thread with the same title. If that's okay? Any problems and I'll delete it Can I have wheel spokes in black And the circle on the bumper covered over to blend in with the bumper Same again for this one please?
  16. Checked on a balancer I didn't directly look for bulges or inspect them properly but I've not seen anything wrong. Neither did the bloke doing the balancing. I will give it a go with the spare wheel. I will check for spigot rings, put some on if they don't have them and see if that fixes it. But yes I will post up results

A triptronic TT is amazing. I'm on my second one now. I don't get the manly feel on changing gear but using the buttons is a decent substitute. Just need to get used how long it takes to change gear once you have pressed the button. It's brilliant in the twisties once you get used to it.
  18. I only just noticed the space trooper bloke in the drivers seat :o
