As a suggestion and its only that, look at some of the drift engine builders. Its very much personal choice but there is a wider market than SRD, CW and WB. Not that they do not possess considerable talent at these things. There are more 2jz expert builders about than those that trade on these forums. But again all about research and personal preference.

Depends how much you want to spend, which doesn't necessarily equate to quality btw despite popular belief. Do your research. As a clue, the fastest and most reliable 2J's are not always built by "household names".
  3. The amount of weights on those wheels they must be bent stupid....
  4. Yea essentially. Only thing the stock ecu controls is the turbos as far as i understand
  5. Yes it is able to run the car as stock - source, direct from Link UK & Ireland regional manager
  6. Does that include my pm directly about the brake disc set Alex, I think i was first on those?
  7. He wont have that problem with the precision ported cover anyway. Diverts any surge around the blades
  8. Yes but then the wrap would be wasted? Its kind of one use once its been soaked and applied isn't it? I do appreciate your point though!
  9. Happy days mate, nice when it all starts to come together!
  10. Its no more butchered than those ould Top Secret things that people seem to be dying over tbh....
  11. Incase anyone is interested as a "demo" http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/582da920a5821/received_1273810126019536.mp4
  12. You were born with 10 of them lol but in all seriousness are you trying to do up the clutch fully mounted to the flywheel and then put the box through the drive plate? As far as I know the room while the engine in the car only allows you to mount the drive plate and cover to the box and then you put the box on and fix the cover to the flywheel or basket through the inspection holes?
  13. I am certain its not an XS power one. Definitely does not have that plate tacked to the runner in your photo and its not bare steel either. Thanks for the link though always worth clarifying for guys looking at it!
  14. I have changed to a Vband setup. Selling my single turbo manifold and external wastegate. Great manifold and wastegate setup, just fancy giving a vband setup a go. Currently supporting 550rwhp on my car. Has been on the car since I got it and was told its an HKS and certainly does appear to have the old style HKS external wastegate attached to it. Hasnt let me down in 3 years so could well be genuine although i have no proof. In any case, good manifold and wastegate setup for anyone wanting to single turbo. For 2jzgte non vvti The manifold is fully titanium heatwrapped also: Was thinking a price of £250 delivered for the pair
  15. A fucking fortune...... lol to be honest theres lots of different ways. A true OEM conversion can set you back 6k or so. An adapted setup with say a BMW box, considerably less but then there are some drivability sacrifices with ratios etc. Its not a particularly hard job. A friend of mine recently paid £400 for a top notch chaser R154 conversion with a local drift mechanic on a TT Auto. Another friend paid £900 for a mk3 R154 conversion with considerable fabrication with a different guy. Depends who you use tbh but any competant mechanic should be able to do it and not charge the earth. Other "specialists" could charge you a couple of grand. Just because they are a popular choice doesnt mean they are the best or even the most cost effective. Bottom line, find someone you really trust to do it for you!
  16. He died mate. As far as ive been told theres no implications of any "bad driving". Think it was all circumstances and a chain of events following the heart attack
  17. Bit of an Update guys, he took a heart attack at the wheel just before the crash. Poor lad like. Absolutely horrendous
