  1. I could well be wrong (and probably am), but I was basing on 3litres x 1 revolution per min = 3 litres and therefor 5,000 revolutions would be 15,000 litres given that the volume of fuel injected is negligable and a little bit if the air is pressurised on boost?
  2. I would actually love to see the air con system you're going to plan to run to supply say for instance the 15,000 litres of air at 5,000rpm that your engine requires...........
  3. Surely though a steel internaled turbo set won't make a standard boost of .76 as they are not stock units. You'll prob find that as you've replaced the turbos with steel ones they are slower to spool and the exit path is the same as for the jap ceramic ones and therefore flow is reduced to the point whereby the standard bleed off rate will only provide .6 bar. This is just my logic making of the situation, I am by no means pretending to be a know it all.......primarily because I do not lol
  4. As above can anyone post up a picture ideally or tell me where the active spoiler relay is? Mine has stopped working and after reading another thread I think the relay my have worked loose as the fuse and ecu are fine and the motor was previously working.
  5. emmm if you're seeing grease coming out of the balljoints, they're fucked lol new balljoint mate is the fix for this
  6. im BPU with a 1.1bar RR. its not that im looking for more power as the full BPU kick is coming in hard at 4k but i want a better delivery of the power which is why im trying to get lower rpm response
  7. dont get me wrong, it is making boost there, just not as much as id like
  8. ok so TTC is running them both in parallel. Im not sure if this is the thing im thinking of, the thing i was told about should apparently give me noticable boost about 3k rpm atm, not much happens until im on the second turbo
  9. What way does this affect the twin setup then? Still sequential? Can anyone direct me to a full explanatory guide for this TTC craic?
  10. Hi guys, ive heard rumours of some sort of re-piping you can do around the turbos to get more boost on the first turbo before it starts to feed the second. Is there any truth in this or does anyone have any idea what im on about?lol thanks Niall
  11. sure the wires in that guide are going to the same place as drift bears one no? the locations seem familiar ( only cos i sat and stared at it for so long last night)
  12. Hi Guys, ok wired in my HKS FCD last night using Drift Bear's guide and now im getting an error code 42 - speed sensor, o/d off is flashing when im driving. Can anyone identify the colour of the wiring on a pre facelift J Spec auto for the power, ground, and pressure sensor wire so I can double check and make sure that its whether ive wired the FCD wrong or if there is possibly a fault or loose connection with the SLD/converter that was installed in the car before i got it. Thanks Niall
  13. can anyone confirm this is the case? and what was wrong?
  14. Sorry to ressurect, but if im reading this right, am I right in thinking that the red and black wires are simply spliced in but the original pressure signal wire is cut and the white wire is joined to the loom side of the pressure wire and the yellow wire is joined to the ECU side, so the FCD is effctively a "bridge" betweent he 2 sides of the cut pressure wire (assumedly to intercept the signal, aler it and feed it to the ecu))?
  15. Hey guys, have read the spark plug guide and I have picked up that BKR7EIX is the plug to use for BPU on a J Spec, which I know are a good plug as I used to run them in my 200, however, something in the back of my mind says using iridium plugs has the downside of retaining heat and raising the chance of det (cant remember where I heard this), is this nonsense or are the copper plugs a better plug to use for this reason, allbeit with a closer change interval? Thanks Niall
  16. so should i have a 2 tails per side, 2 brakes per side and 1 fog per side?
  17. Hi Guys, just new on here and have a newbie type question - can anyone tell me the layout of the UK rear lights i.e tail, brake fog, etc for both sides? Thanks Niall
